I waited nearly 5 years for a pair of shoes.

And more than 3 years for the bag I got yesterday and I LOVE it!

Right now, I need never buy another thing ever again Grin

I love that feeling, OP.

I've started starting saving up for an 'expensive for what it is item' myself.

Just googled. Gorgeous bag. The grey is a great choice too.

I was like this about a Pearl Lowe for Peackcocks black lace dress from about 3-4 years ago. Missed it online and stalked Ebay for at least a year until I got it in the two different sizes I fluctuate between Grin

That Marc Jacobs bag is nice Scoosels - I think the plaque will be less annoying in real life as it's not touching you being at the front

Nice grey too

Sometimes you only have that feeling until the next thing but sometimes not.

I got my dream bag for my last birthday, which was a significant one...I've not lusted after a bag since.

Enjoy the moment whilst it lasts.

I got a fantastic leather jacket for my birthday this year. I've wanted one for at least 10years but didn't want to get it until I was a size 12 (not the 14-20 I was during those years). And now I have it and I want it to be winter so I can wear it all the time... I want to wear it to bed and every day for the rest of my life and be buried in it. I luff, luff, luff it!

I failed spectacularly at selfridges today.
Marc Jacobs just didn't do it for me.

So am now saving for something else.
What else? Not a clue. Shock

OP that's such a great feeling and a great bag too.
I get inordinately excited about stuff. I saved up for a Gucci Disco bag earlier this year and chuckled to myself like a mad woman on the train home after I'd bought it Grin

Lol at Dry

It does give me a dizzy happy spell. And I also remember the first time I bought something like that in Italy when I was 22. Actually I remember all the light headed buys (well nearly)
