Frivolous high end bag dilemma

There's a bag I really love but is unattainable as I refuse to spend what it costs on a bag. But I've seen a preloved version for less than half the current retail. But it's still a lot to spend. Meanwhile I am lusting after some shoes and a clutch for evenings out, can't do both. which would give you more enjoyment? Will I be disappointed buying pre owned? Will the daily use of the bag make it a worthy choice or occasional use of the (still costly but not as much) clutch and heels be a better option? Help I can't decide!!

Can you inspect the preowned bag before committing?

No. But it's not an eBay type situation. Plenty of photos and it's well described. It's just. ...... It's a lust list item and will be there next year and right now on my list are: new patent heels, a clutch, a beautiful blazer and a purse. Not to mention ankle boots and a large cashmere silk scarf.
I could have all of those for the same price.

Go for option B. Then you will have a selection of things which you use on different days and in different situations, all of which will bring you pleasure. The bag, while lovely, is presumably day wear only and others will come up in future.

Normally I'd say go for the investment piece if you're sure it's in excellent condition, but given that it's not just that versus heels and a clutch, then in this case I'd probably go for the variety of items too.

I would get all the other things heels, boots, blazer, clutch, scarf etc because you'll get a lot of wear out of them & they will make your life easier - whereas a trophy bag is just a bag.

I guess it's on Covetique or Vestaire Colletif?

Vestiaire Collective, thanks autocorrect.
