Where can my small boobs find a bra that fits?!

These days I am probably sporting a 32/34aa (at a stretch) and I JUST want to find a bra that gives some oomph but doesn't gape. All the 'names' yes Ultimo and wonderbra I am looking at you don't go small enough and I don't want to resort to a boob job. Grin

There are a few online retailers but I want to go into a shop and be properly fitted and feel womanly for once in my god damn life!!! I don't care what it costs, anything is better than implants, but where to go?? And please don't say M&S they are a crock of shite too Sad

There are experts who'll be along soon I'm sure but in the meantime have you read any of the bra intervention threads, chances are you're wearing totally the wrong size bra, measure yourself using this method.
To be a AA cup the measurement around your bust would need to be exactly the same as under your bust. What size clothing do you wear?

In the history of mumsnet bra interventions, no-one has ever been a 32A Grin

When you measure underbust, what are you? You probably need a smaller band and bigger cup.

You're probably around a 28d/e if you've been adding inches on. Not that they're any easier to find!

M&S 2 sizes bigger is good-take a look before you say no- but they do feel a bit like falsies!
I don't have one but they might be what you need.

However, do measure properly.
I used to think I was a 34 A or 34B.

I now wear a 32D.

Measure under the bust tightly-then lean forward and measure over dangly pert breasts.

First measurement is band size. The difference in inches is your cup size.

But you need to try a few on.

I measure 31 round back- so go up to 32 for comfort, and 35 over boobs which is a 3-4 inch difference: A,B. C, D- so I go for a D cup usually.

Ok I am according to this, a 28 b or c. Hmmm I couldn't usually do up a 30... Now to find one and test the theory!!

I measure as a 28d but they are almost impossible to find on the high street though I have found a 30c from john lewis and one from debenhams that fits well so maybe try there

John Lewis stock a few too. What do you measure (just to check)

So 28 under the bust (but that's snug), then 31.5 over the nipples when I bend forward. So figured that makes either a 28b or 30a?? Have found a 30a on the Debenhams site so going to give that a try.

1 inch difference = one cup size (AA is same measurement for over and under) so you'd be better trying 28C or D and 30 B or C as a starting point.

I love these threads! Grin

Try a 28C or D.

Could you go to a larger JL or Debenham's? They usually have a good selection of the less usual sizes.

yup, 28C or 28D. The AA doesn't count.

28C is a tough size - it falls in between as loads of ranges don't do a 28 at all (shocking IMO), most of the D+ ranges do but they're d+, and loads of the "teen" bras stop at a B cup. So it is well worth trying lots of the 28D - take a look at bravissimo and brastop. Curvy Kate often runs a bit small in the cup which makes them more likely.

If you are a 28C then Mimi Holliday make some lovely and definitely grown up bras.

have a look at this

a 28C is pretty petite - a C cup isn't the same on all bands. A 28C has the same volume as a 30B, a 32A and a 34AA...

Wow, that bra band project gallery is amazing - does not have my size though. Should I volunteer? Grin

I looked forever and then found that Asda made bras that fitted me (34AA).

Amazeboobs.

I swear by wacoal petite 32aa bras from fig leaves. Fit perfectly, give a good shape, the right amount of padding and really comfortable.
