Washing white converse

Has anyone successfully washed white converse? I don't want the soles to come away from their canvas. Their in good shape as I only had them this summer but a little grubby looking.

Not white ones but I've stuck my black converse in the washing machine and they washed fine and came up pretty well.

I wash converse regularly - no probs at all - not white ones but can't see what difference that makes really, should be fine. Soles have never come unglued so far! I don't wash them on their own I usually chuck them in with other washing so they don't bang around in the drum.

I wash mine all the time and have had no problems. I usually wash them with a regular load and pop them in a pillow case so they don't bump around too much. I've never had any come unglued and some of mine I've had for five or six years and they've been washed regularly

I bet I've washed dd's more than 30 times. They are red though.

I washed DD's white ones and the red from inside turned them pink!

Washed mine too plenty of times. No problems.

Both my DD's have white Converse and they get chucked in with a white wash regularly! The 'All Stars' at the heel have faded a bit, but other than that, they're fine!

I frequently wash mine (white ones and pink ones) in an ordinary 30 or 40 degree wash and usually with the dusters (not yellow ones) to soften the bumping around. They are fine. And very clean!

Mine came up wonderfully. Inside a pillowcase with a glowhite sheet.

Give them a good scrub with toothpaste and they'll be sparkling again.
