I want to buy a blouse, do the sizes tend to come up big or small?

Thanks!

I find the tops to be true to size but the trousers are tiny. Great quality clothes, it's my favourite shop.

Ok cool. One more question: would you say, then, that if I'm a big size 10 I would still be ok with a size 10 blouse?

I would size up, I find all of their clothes on the small side.

I find their clothes big!

I find their clothes massive too

Ok I will stick with the 10, then. Thank you :-)

I find them mahoosive (so big that I can't wear them at all).

I find Joules usually come up small across the bust. If you're more than a B/ C cup the fit will be very snug.

I love the look of joules clothes on other people but not on me. Are there staples people tend to go for?

Sorry - blindly hijacking thread.

Oh ok well 12 it is then.. Very big bust. And it's a fitted shirt. I wonder if I should venture into the nearest shop rather than buying it online.

Depends on the style. I always end up buying online as noJoules near me but I tend to buy both sizes and then use the free returns service.

Oops forgot to say that there is no free returns service if it is a sale item. Other option I use for them is John Lewis click and collect for free to my nearest waitrose.

Just had a brain wave and checked the size guide...

Due to my bust size I would need a size 14!

Worried that the rest of the shirt would be too big. Has anyone else got this issue and how do shoulders and so on usually fit?

This is quite funny, as my main issue with Joules tops is the HUGE bust, which swamps my tiny one...!

I'm big of bust (32E) but tried a Joules dress on the other day and it came up huge.

I think I'm going to have to hop on the train and actually try it on.

I am a size 12 with a 32G bust. I need a 14 in Joules. Their shirts are not generous in the bust area! Jumpers are quite roomy but anything with buttons on the front and I need a 14. Hope that helps.

Train sounds good. If you are a 32G, the shirts may be ungenerous, but if you're a 30AA, they are like tents. Grin

Went in today. As I'd feared my boobs are an issue. The size 12 was good on the bust but a bit too big everywhere else, the size 10 just too small on the bust. Ah well. I found a nice shirt in H&M though, and when I've slimmed down a bit I'll go back to joules and try again.

oh and for anyone else who is big of boob and a size 10, the size 12 only just fit on the bust, by which I mean there was a tiny bit of gaping which I would have put up with as it would have been fine for now and perfect once I've lost my last stone. But the shirt was just way too big everywhere else. So if you're thinking of buying it's best to go to a shop if you want to be sure it'll sit right.

Such a shame, I loved that shirt Sad

I find that with Joules shirts too. Jumpers etc absolutely fine, shirts and blouses gape. Anything fitted with buttons is a no no but anything else is perfectly fine. Confused
