I take a Euro 39, or UK6, but get Birkies in a 38. They are meant to have enough room that your toes don't hit the front edge when you walk, but I think you may a teeny bit too much room there...

Is that women's or men's style?

They look like completely the wrong size. I'm a 4.5 and get the 37 which are fine. They look a few sizes too big, not just one.

I agree - I take a wiiiiiide size 6 and I think I'm a 4 in Birkies

Hassled Fri 15-Aug-14 20:15:08

I go down 2 sizes in Birkenstocks. It's insane. Just - why?

confused

I am a 5.5-6 (38.5 to 39) and all my multiple styles of Birkies blush are either a 38wide or 39narrow.

Your photo really looks like entirely the wrong size - no idea what's going on there!

Arizona is men's and women's - I'm a size 40 normally bit take 39 in Birks, but they've got to be narrow fit and not everyone stocks them.

Somebody walked off with my bag on the tube last week, taking my beloved Arizonas with them. They're so popular this year that its been the devil's own job replacing them, but finally I have - coming on Monday.

Sorry, that was boring...

I am a 37/4 And I have to get a 35 in birkenstocks.

I bought size 40 and they fit fine on my size 7 feet

But my feet are wide and hobbit like and have a high back and my sizing seems to be ok. V weird.

Im normally size 38 and take 36 in Birkenstocks.

FrancesFarmer Fri 15-Aug-14 21:39:28

I take my normal size in Birkenstocks. Mine are narrow fit, though - maybe that has something to do with it?

Marcipex Fri 15-Aug-14 21:40:23

I'm normally a 38 but I go down a size for Birkenstocks.

This is my size 7.5 foot in a size 40 Birkenstock. I, too, wear 40/41 European.

I'm usually an 8 but take a 6 and a half in Birkis, so I love mine!

Doesn't the Burkenstock website have a printable size chart for you to stand on to work out your size? I'm sure I saw something like that once.

I think you need to look at the actual Birkenstock size on the shoe. DH and I are both size 8 normally, but in Birkenstocks I buy 265 narrow and he buys 260 wide. We can't wear each other's - they're quite different (and his feet are manky!)

SixImpossible Fri 15-Aug-14 22:05:41

wink

I like purple - but the purple socks and the purple Birkens just didn't quite go. So I changed into the black patent ones for the photo.
