Havaianas. I bought some and am not impressed

Everyone on here raves about them, so I bought some online.

The rub like shite, and no other flip flops have ever rubbed me. They have the name imprinted on them , and they seem no different to Primark flip flops. They are certainly the most uncomfortable ones I've ever worn. What am I doing wrong?

I love mine too. They do rub in one place though.

I simply don't understand the fuss - they seem v thin and weren't particularly comfy but I accept that everyone is different.

I have some ace Rocket dog flip flops - they're not pretty as such but they are flipping comfortable.

Get some Animal instead. They're lovely and comfy and they have the decency to at least look a bit different from the cheapos.

I just got these ones and I love them Smile

Mine rubbed at first, between my toes, but that was about 10 or so years ago, when I first started wearing them. They are the only rubber flip flops for me.

Rocketdog sunsets... been wearing mine for 6 years now, and am about to get another pair. They are amazingly comfy (whole family wear them now) and the only flip flops that have never rubbed!

Be thankful you can wear flip flops. I have a bunion and subsequent bent toe that I probably can't ignore for much longer the size of Mars, meaning I can't wear said footwear for fear of repulsing people / ridicule.

I miss flip flops.

My first pair lasted years and I only chucked then when they had literally worn through. Bought a second pair last year only for one to go ping on me in the park last week. Had to limp home with one bare foot. Most unimpressed.

I bought some and they rubbed and rubbed and rubbed. Gave them away in the end

Surely if you like them it is because you have never worn comfy flip flops like rocket dog ones? They are very very pound shop ordinary.

Two pound ones from Asda are good. Lots of different colours, last perfectly well and you don't care if they ever do fall apart because they didn't cost much to start with.

Mine rubbed the first few times but are fine now. And they seem indestructible.

Another vote for the Animal swish flip flops. No rubbing

I bought 3 pairs 7 years ago and they're still going strong and are v comfy. I love 'em!

Primark flop flops shredded my feet when I tried them.

Never rubbed. Wear all year as slippers

Mine don't last long though. The toe post goes after two years

That's why I wear teva flip flops, last ages, do not rub, hugely comfortable.

Word of warning on the Animals - I have just discovered that they are very slippery on some pavement surfaces in the rain! If anybody saw me earlier doing a kind of timid waddle along the platform at London Bridge, I hadn't shat myself, honest, I was just trying to not end up under a train Blush

Use a bit of Lanacaine anti chafe cream between toes. Sorted.
