DH wants to buy me Pearl Wedding present.

We have been married 30 years in August. He bought me a couple of nice things, a ring and a bracelet from Links for our 25th and now he wants to buy me something with pearls in/on for our 30th. From Etsy and NOTHS I can see that a freshwater pearl necklace with something dangling from it would be well in the limit of £250 but I can't see anything I really like. Ideally I'd like a freshwater pearl necklace with an ornate silver hear dangling from it. Other suggestions gratefully received. I can't be trusted not to lose earrings so they are out. Thanks.

What about a bracelet? My dh brought me one of these with my children's names engraved on it which I love.

Congratulations higgle. A thread a few weeks ago put me on to Sarah Hickey's jewellery, she does a pearl collection. Here: sarahhickeyjewels.bigcartel.com/category/pearls?page=2 They're rather lovely.

I like the Sarah Hickey things, but I'd still like some more to look at!
We met on a sailing holiday in Greece. He liked my red bikini and the fact that I introduced myself by offering to buy him a pint, I just thought he had lovely eyes.

This is pretty and well in budget:

A little pricier at £299 but still very pretty (I think there is a 10% offer at the top of the page on that site too)

Anyhow, they seem to have loads!
And, congratulations!

How about a watch with a pearl face? Something like this?

Congratulations Thanks

If This appealed it has a nice connection with the fact you met on a sailing holiday. It's way under budget though.

Joano, that is exactly what I thought I wanted, thank you for finding it.
However, some ot the other things are nice too and I'm quite temptd still by the Sarah Hickey items and the lovely pearls in oyster one, Hen.
I shall be showing all these to DH to make a decision and I'll let you know what I decide on. Thank you everyone for finding some things I had not come across.

Just had our 30th too. Couldn't think of any pearls I liked - I only do necklaces not bracelets, don't like 'conventional' pearl necklaces, and most of the pendants - there are some nice ones here- look too itsy-bitsy on me as I'm large.

Got another lovely non-pearl present from my DH, but I must say I do like the oyster and pearl necklace Hen posted - something really different.

Update for everyone who helped. I rather surprised myself and eventually decided on a Trollbead necklace. here is one a bit like it, but I went for the pendant with the pearl drop on a longish chain. I had a little greenish bead in the middle and two pearls at the side. The catch has a lovely floral bit to it too. I'll be able to wear this more often than something exotic, and DH does buy me jewellery because he knows I wear it and get pleasure from thinking about why I was given it.

We had a fantastic day, lunch at Bath Priory, cocktails in the garden there and our sons bought us opera tickets too, I am very lucky!
