I do to get hard skin because I keep up a daily maintenance on my feet.

However, you could start by soaking your feet in bowl or bath and use a pumice stone to remove the build up of skin.

Then use a moisturiser of your choice, flexibility is popular and rub all over feet and wear a paid of cotton ankle socks over them and sleep overnight in them. Then continue to moisturise your feet every morning and night and once a week or more, sleep with the socks on.

It works for me.

or that, I think all those micro/express pedi things are quite similar. Use that one, then slather on some thick cream and put socks on overnight, and voila, perfect feet.

Soap n Glory foot file and any old moisturiser.

I have a 'soap and glory' foot file. I file daily and then apply a heel cream. After 2 weeks you will notice a real difference. My heels are now smooth.

However, you have to keep doing it. If you stop the skin builds up again.

I have them scraped by a podiatrist and then use flexibility everyday

Sandpaper, honest! A good coarse 60grit, works really well.

I don't have much of a hard skin on feet problem - this along with very modest body hair is my blessing in life :) (I am fat though).

I use a pumice stone (plucked from the shores of Lake Taupo in 1996) occasionally and a bit of moisturiser.

BeCool - bwahaha you made me laugh :-)

When my are bad I visit the chiropodists. She cuts toenails, uses a scalpel to remove hard skin and corns/callouses then uses an electric sander to buff then a massage. Feels like brand new feet after. Sounds violent but doesn't hurt and feet feel great.
Newtons chiropody sponge is excellent - buy on e-bay. followed by any foot cream.

I'm on day 6 after my footners - I can't take my socks off because there's chunks of skin falling off. I love it.

Another one for Newtons chiropody sponge followed by flexitol. You can get them on amazon and after just one use I saw an amazing difference. Now use it for a few days every month to keep the hard skin and cracked heels at bay.

Just googled Footner - sounds right up my street. I'm getting me some of those bad boys.

But I don't dare do it until the autumn when I'm wearing socks again.

lloyds do a corn and callous knife
you just shave all the horrid skin away
you only cut yourself the first four or five times, after that it's great Grin

and yy to flexitol - I use it daily in the summer, and then the shaver knife thing weekly. you definitely need to do regular maintenance otherwise the horrid skin takes a grip really quickly. it's worse than japanese knotweed TBH.
