M&S bras: rubbish

I have been measured and bought two or three Beas on a couple of occasions - only to fall out of them or fir the bras to ruse up. Clearly not fitted correctly as made sire to adjust them then n there. So I more recently fitted myself and was happy with the fit - only for the bras to fall apart (holes for straps to book into fell apart. Rubbish! A real waste of money.
I hadn't kept my money and they're rubbish at returns, having quite rightly tried to take the last lot back.

The bra guru's here have written a better bra blog on how to measure etc, and have really good info on fit.

M & S get very bad press as they measure round then add 4 inches onto your size, so the straps have to do all the work rather than the band.

i find hem fine. I just use my own measurments and try on in the changing room, rather than get fitted by them. They are the cheapest place for g cup bras, whilst I prefer brands like curvy kate I haven't always got £30+ to spend on a bra, and so £15 at m&s in lots of colour choices does for me. They fit well and I don't fall out or the band doesn't rise at the back.

Take your own measurement as per the blog linked and fit them yourself.

Please bear in mind that M&S doesn't do an FF cup so their G is really an FF!

I think you've just been unlucky with those particular ones. M&S can't fit for toffee but I've always found that if you fit yourself their bras are perfectly acceptable given their price. I'm currently wearing a brilliant (if old-school in styling) bra I bought in the sale for 2 quid - it's lasting very well.

But do try taking it back and complaining if it's worn out unacceptably quickly.

I've not been able to find any bras in M&S that fit me.

I tend to buy mine at Debenhams. I keep an eye on the sale rack for discounted ones (I tend to buy Freya and have recently discovered I can wear Fantasia ones too)

I recently bought one of the Rosie silk ones and it's lovely. Didn't get fitted though - just fitted myself.

I'm happy with my measuring now but I've been really unlucky with the quality of the two styles I've bought. Since I have bought two or three at a time, this makes it a relatively expensive disappointment. I really liked them. I'm AA, so it was the 2 sizes bigger ones ;)

craftynclothy Freya are made by Fantasie so I'm not surprised that you like both brands. They use similar shapes for their wires/cuts.

JustWonderingAbout In all the many, many bra threads, there has been about one or two genuine A cup people. Most people have turned out, after following the bra guru guide, to be at least a D and are usually around an F. An AA means that your under bust and across bust are exactly the same size.
