Wedding dress that doesn't need to be a wedding dress

What sort of shops should I be looking at for a wedding dress that doesn't need to be a wedding dress?

I think grecian style would be the closest to the sort of thing I'm looking for.
White is nice but not adverse to cream or even a gentle aqua (is this a huge no?!), strapless and some under bust detail would be nice.

If you have seen anything like this, where?

I'm also open to other ideas, I'm a size 8, 5ft 5.

where As you are looking for something quite specific, then would you maybe think of getting a local dressmaker to run something up? This way you'll get exactly what you want!

I got married in a monsoon dress. It was lovely - weddingy but not a meringue and really pretty. I think I paid about £180.

On the House of Fraser website, saw this fab dress.

Would definitely wear something like this if getting married again, would be fabulous. V like Jenny Packham dress at fraction of price.
