The perfect wedding day makeup

I'm planning ahead for a wedding I'm attending and am looking to have my face looking as good as it can.

I'm looking for any recommendations from primer, to foundation, mascara, concealer etc. plus any colour recommendations.

It needs to last all day, with the odd touch up.

I'm hoping you can all help x

Have you thought about make up lessons at Bobbi brown or mac? I believe they are fully redeemable against any purchases. Bear in mind you may have to wear more than usual so it shows on camera and false eyelashes can really make your eyes standout on camera too. It's depends on how much you feel comfortable wearing .

Ooh false eyelashes, didn't think of that. I'm guessing natural looking ones would be best.

Lisa Eldridge has a video about wedding make up which might give you some ideas

Drink loads of water as it will help flush out toxins & help it glow. Get into a good skincare routine with a few facials thrown in before the event to help your skin look & feel good.

Im a freelance make up artist by trade and use all Dior for wedding make ups.
SKinflash Primer - gets rid of redness makes skin look soo good!
Airflash foundation - photographs beautifully, no spf so no light bounceback making you look pale faced
Rose Powder - Loose powder - personally use this lasts me 12 months i use it every day
Rosy glow blush - looks crazy colour but adapts to the skin and looks amazing on every skin tone.
Lashes are a good idea stay as natural as possible unless you want a heavy eyed look, eye lure are brilliant- highly recommend!

A good primer and foundation, so smash box primer, the new Estée Lauder glowy double wear applied sparingly, urban decay eye primer. Then use Mua eyeshadows as v cheap but v nice to keep the overall cost down.... Oh, and boujois healthy mix serum foundation is fab and cheap...x

The flashback thing is really important. Double wear causes terrible flashback on me. Anything with SPF is bad news.

Lancome teint idole ultra with a dust of NARS laguna bronzer on top photographs BEAUTIFULLY. Is this within budget?

(high SPF I should say). And yes to Lisa Eldridge vids.

My friend is a make up artist and did mine as my wedding present. She used a lot of Dior
