Ok it's spring but I don't care. I am wearing it to eat ice cream in the park.

Well noone on MN cares, apparently, but it has been on several outings now and is much admired! Grin

It's very nice and if I had 200 quid spare for a raincoat is definitely consider it!

rootypig I love it.

Please share which size you bought, and what size you are. Smile

Not sure if the link is working for me. It links to an alarming looking bearded man. Is that the one?

Rooty I love your coat. I'd buy one in camo print in a heartbeat if I didn't already have a couple of great ones...

I know it's a lot Blush

But I'm a single parent to toddler so spend a lot of time in the rain. And have been out in the evening I think twice in the last year sad. And this is the only coat i've bought this winter. And it should last a lifetime.

Rooty a good raincoat is really worth it if you live in a rainy place. I often wonder why we own any sandals or summer dresses - a good raincoat needs no further justification. I have several and they get worn a lot more than most of my other clothes...

Is it a mens coat? Doesn't that make it a bit boxy?

Report
rootypig · 24/03/2014 14:06

It's unisex with a straight cut, the XXS fits me perfectly across the shoulder seams, which I think is key bish. It doesn't look boxy on me got no breasts, is also perfect length, just below bum.

Thanks frugal, I do think I'll wear the nuts out of it Grin
And not inwardly groaning at every rainy day and being old and wet has to be worth it, right?

Lovely! Showerproof though - is this sufficient for Britain's eternal monsoon? Or is this just a description they have to adhere to if it's not military grade?

I cannot see the colour options you mention div
