Everyday trainers for narrow feet

I am looking for some trainers to wear with cropped jeans and day dresses.

I've tried Superga and they were like boats on my feet. Converse are OK but I'm a bit bored of them and wondered about getting something even comfier - I like the look of the navy New Balance ones the writer of 'Does my bum look 40 in this?' wears. doesmybumlook40.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/its-post-no-one-has-been-waiting-for.html

What do you think of them? Anyone know if they are any good for narrow feet? I'm usually a 6 but in my running trainers (Asics) I size up, do you know if that is the same for all trainers?
