Where did you get your favourite everyday bag?

I would like a new bag. It needs to be big enough for my purse, keys, phone, a nappy and wipes (though hopefully not for much longer), a few toy cars - you know the usual bits of crap...

I'd like it to be colourful and ideally with a bright / light inner lining (so I can find all my rubbish in it) and not too deep (for same reasons).

I have seen two I like:

Love the pattern, nice shape and size but someone has commented on the fabric cracking... Maybe she was just unlucky?

Also like this one...

If anyone can even suggest places to even look I'd be grateful. My budget is about £50 - £60 ish. Where do I look?

Thanks

Fossil. But you are only going to stay in your budget if you (like me!) handily live near the outlet ;)

Mine is a Longchamp Le Pliage. It's a wee bit over your budget (I couldn't fecking afford it now), but it has lasted unfailingly since 2011. It's deceptively well-wearing.

Hermes Birkin in black crocodile. A little over your budget but you could try looking online for a high street dupe as its perfect.

Thanks. Haven't tried TK Maxx or Accessorize. Don't think I'd find much in the charity shops near me unfortunately. And no fossil outlet near me as far as I know.

The Longchamp is a bit beyond my budget but does look rather lovely. Would be wasted on the school run though really!

Fat Face. Big, soft brown leather shoulder bag. Big enough for work files and all my crap. Love it.

I have the Kath Kidston one in your post and love it. I had a really strict criteria for my everyday bag and this ticked all the boxes, as apart from all the things you need it for I also wanted a wide shoulder strap and an outside pocket for my phone so I'm not scrambling about in the actual bag for it. And it had to fit over the bugaboo handlebar, which it does.

I love it. I've had it since last September and can't see any cracking.

On a day to day basis mine contains: purse, ipad mini, nappies & wipes, toy helicopter, etc. It's plenty big enough without being too big.

There are definitely some lovely Fossil bags in the TK Maxx near me (Glasgow). If I were looking for a new bag, I'd love one of them. Smile

KIPLING- large sizes Alvar across the body bag as well and in a variety of colours, and machine washable to boot. Look at MAZON OR MAYBE QVC

Massimo Dutti tan leather.
Enough room for everything and looks perfect despite being thrown around daily for the past 8 months. The leather is so soft you can actually cuddle it Confused

LOL at the Hermes Birkin. If you can afford to spend £12k on a bag, you don't need to carry nappies, because your Norland nanny will be with you.

Another vote for a Pliage, or something a bit posher but via Ebay or a dress agency so you don't weep if you spill something on it.
