It needs to be leather, one strap and have silver or same colour hardware. Preferably hobo style. Help me ladies of S&B, Google has failed.

I love this one .... Charcoal

I saw it in House of Fraser and it was beautifully soft. I would have bought it if it had been in the sale but I couldn't justify full price as I really don't need anther bag.

How about this reed krakoff one

Marking my place as I am looking for exactly the same thing but with little success.

The Longchamp Pliage Cuir is very nice but I don't want the small handles (tey slip off my shoulder and annoy me!) and it doesn't seem to come in grey.

For some reason none of the links are working for me. I think this is something to do with the settings on my PC though! Must discuss with DH who may have been fiddling...

I like the shape of the Mint Velvet one but I'm not keen on the suede and it looks quite shiny not fussy at all

SorrelForbes Fri 07-Feb-14 19:42:22

The Reed Krakoff one is pretty much perfect (apart from the bronze hardware) but a tadge over budget! I'd go up to about £400/500.

Have you tried etsy? I once had a bag made up by someone in Thailand, choosing the hardware colour, stitch colour (self-coloured or contrast), leather colour, etc. If you search by shape, you could get someone to do the same shape in the correct leather colour?

That's a good idea, I'm shall browse now. Thanks.

StyleOverSubstance Just found these:

Amelia

Roselle

I love the Amelia one you linked to.

SorrelForbes Fri 07-Feb-14 20:26:52

Me too. I've just emailed them asking if they could make it with a brighter lining (HoC Winter here!)

TheJumped Fri 07-Feb-14 20:33:51

That Amelia one is gorgeous! Love the idea of a custom bag, keep us updated Sorrel smile

SorrelForbes Fri 07-Feb-14 20:35:22

I will do. Well under budget too which is rather nice.

The mint velvet one is much nicer in RL than the photo. I wasn't even sure initially if it was the same bag. Worth a look.

SorrelForbes Fri 07-Feb-14 20:52:33

burnishedsilver I'll have a look in my local HoF next week. TBH though, I live in place with crap shops and I bet they won't have it.

burnishedsilver Fri 07-Feb-14 21:11:27

Clark's have a grey leather bag called triple maker which looks nice on the website. I haven't seen it in RL so it could be like elephant skin, but the reviews are good.

SorrelForbes Fri 07-Feb-14 21:15:43

It's got two straps I'm afraid so no good. Looks nice on the web site though.

I got a lovely reply from the seller on Etsy but unfortunately that lining is two seasons old so no longer available. I've ordered the Amelia that's shown on the site so will keep you posted as to quality etc. when it arrives.

Bit late now, but what about Joseph? There are these one but not hobo style: Joseph bags plus I saw a grey duffle shape with one strap in the Telegraph online.
