Ooh, you lot are clever. Those are just the sort of thing, I'll pass the ideas on. Thank you very much.

How about this? Is an amazingly flattering cut and a right bargain too.

I went to a wedding and a guest with fair colouring wore this dress. It hid a multitude of sins, her words and she looked really lovely. I think it may have a control panel fitted in the front. I have a dress with some ruching across the stomach and as I don't have abs it feels very comfortable.

Something like this?

lace top dress

Might be too dark a colour though if she's fair though.

Hello mrsL, under £200. Apparently must have some sleeve and not be body con. She actually has a great figure, very in proportion but doesn't see it. She's a fan of those lace top bits IYKWIM.

blush hello

What sort of price range?

AphraBehn Thu 30-Jan-14 18:09:35

I thought that might be the case.

Thanks, that is lovely, but I think she's looking for something more dressy.

I'm not a frock expert but I am fair with a ruddy complexion and would love this from Dorothy Perkins.

Can you help?
My lovely friend is having a big birthday party & needs a dress.
She's tall, size 14 and is very body conscious.
She'd like something with sleeves and not too short. Fair hair with a slightly ruddy complexion. Any ideas? TIA
