Non identical adult bridesmaids

Hi everyone.
We have 5 adult bridemaids and a very loose idea for them to tone rather than match.
Have been looking at ASOS, and I wondered if anyone had any other tips for where to look, quite small budget.
We're thinking some long, some short, some sequins maybe, some not!

I remember looking at Dessy for things like that but as it was 6 years ago I can't remember if they were very pricey or not I'm afraid!

Oooh, I've seen an american site which has multiway dresses, some lovely gallery pics of bridesmaids wearing different styles but in the same colour - it looks really beautiful!

Debenhams have their half price sale preview online - various dress styles, as well as evening & party, there's maxi, embellished, occasion etc.

TJformal from the US have very reasonable prices....might be worth a look. I ordered from them a few years back and was very pleased with my dresses xx

It looks like Dessy doesn't exist anymore.

We've looked at a couple of US sites, as you say they're fab for ideas but the idea of ordering from there is a bit of a headache.

BHS have the same colour in several dress styles and v reasonable

I did exactly this, used jjs house. It is a us site but I can highly recommend quality was fab and delivery very quick. Was able to let them all pick a completely different dress then just order in the se colour.
Cost £60-£90 per dress, all we're really well made, fully lined etc.

Ive been to two wedding with non identical.dresses.

The first - all tge same dress in different colours
The second - all different dresses, all same length and colour.

Both looked very very good.

Id say the second had the edge though, as all the BMs had dresses that 100% flattered and suited them.

WRT to budget, if im.honest Id say to avoid ASOS. Their dresses tend to be quite poor quality, unless they are the expensive ones.

Try Joy The Store, Oasis (owned by Coast) and Monsoon (usually have really good sales come.Jan)

Wjat colours, styles, budget?

Bride likes all quite different. Toning shades probably light pink and gold,
two want long to cover their legs. I'm pleased she's flexible as we are thinking of sharing cost with the BMs.

I got BM dresses from Dessy a few years ago and they have hundreds and hundreds of dresses, multiple colours in each style so you could mix and match really easily.

Ah, we x posted MAFA, we're thinking of putting £50-60 towards and specifying colour range as above. They'll all be unified by bouquet, hair decoration, they are all very different types bodywise and style wise.
I think it's high priority that they are all happy with what they're wearing.

With Dessy just beware you might need to order well ahead, the dresses come from the US (or they did when I bought them) and they had a 12 week delivery time

Have you tried David's Bridal? It's a large chain from the US, but it looks like they now have a store in London.

They do pretty good dresses. I still have one that I wore back in 2006 for a wedding in Las Vegas. It's a pretty nice black strapless that I have actually worn again. At least in the US, their prices are very reasonable.

When I was a bridesmaid for my best friend, we just got told to pick a navy dress, any style. Mine was from ASOS Curve, bride's sister had a cocktail dress from Coast, groom's sister had a more traditional bridesmaid dress but everyone looked good. Is that an option at all?

LittleBaby it is an option, that exact solution has been suggested, using navy.
A really good idea I think.
The wedding will be in a warm part of Europe so I think the pink/gold option is seen as more summery. I love navy and think it's an unusual, quite sophisticated look.

Navy goes very well with pink, white, coral or yellow, so could be made to look very summery

You could perhaps buy a few and get a few made in the colour or style you want if you struggle to find 5 different ones.
