Little raised spots - lots of them, not quite skin tags. Any advice?

They've been appearing over the last year or so. There were a few bigger ones, not massive though, and I got them burned off by the nurse at the GP clinic. Only worked for some - those have largely grown back and I've got scars/marks where it has worked.

However, I now have a whole batch of them under one of my breasts. About ten I'd say, again not as big as skin tags, more like raised spots. I've tried a few creams which haven't worked. Some are reddish, some white (on other parts of me, such as my neck and underarms, I have a few too, they're just a slightly darker skin colour, and there are reddish strawberry coloured ones on my tummy and thighs).

The nurse was quite dismissive last time, just said it was my age and I felt like I was wasting her time.

Do these sound familiar to anyone? Any suggestions as to what I could do myself? Do you think I could use that burn off warty remover stuff you can buy over the counter?

Thanks so much for any advice.

I'll go Google images of both of those and hope there's nothing you're tricking me with! Thank you Smile.

It's just age Confused Things grow, things fall off, everything goes south, ears and nose get bigger, hair appears in places you hadn't thought of Grin

skin tags can start off small and normally appear where straps rub e.g. bra straps/underwires, etc. I snipped a few tiny ones off with nail clippers (and a couple of big ones, but thats another story!)

Yes, I know age changes things but I also don't want to be covered (slight exaggeration) in these horrible things! I haven't noticed the age thing too much yet, in fact, instead of hair growing everywhere, the good thing seems to be that I only need to shave my legs once a week instead of very day as it hardly grows at all. Nose has always been big anyway Sad, and don't think I've ever looked at my ears so can't report on that . . .

Witch hazel has calmed the redness down around some of them, so it's really just the skin that I need to deal with.

ilovepowerhoop - did the nail clipper thing work? I have some that aren't even as big as skin tags though and, you're right, on one side they are where my bra wire would rub (didn't know it was rubbing, but maybe it is).

What would I use if it is what 'OwlCat or ilovepowerhoop* have suggested? Different things depending on which - or is there something for both given that some pix of each look similar?

molluscum is a viral skin condition that eventually goes by itself.

keratosis pilaris doesnt sound like what you describe
