Which grey ankle boots - help me choose

I want a pair of grey ankle boots, to wear with skinnies mostly - which should I get?

Aldo which are actually slightly lighter grey than the pic shows
or Zara which are definitely light grey in real life and not the beigey colour it looks on my screen.

Aldo are dark grey leather (and a total tribute to Acne Star boots), so won't mark horribly like I expect the Zara pale grey suede ones would. I'd get the Aldo ones, for durability and also as I prefer the shape. If they had been available last winter before I bought my dark grey boots, I would have bought them - they look really good.

So 6-0 to Aldo. They are great in real life (Zara are good too) and I think I am tending towards them. I like the idea of then being a tribute rather than rip-off of the Star!

Aldo will wear better, the heels on the Zara ones will scuff and not last as long

Zara ones will get wrecked, I had an almost identical pair from Hobbs and they only lasted about 3 months!

Aldo ones are gorgeous, I might have to get them myself

Lady they really don't feel like heels - very stable, sturdy heel so I reckon you could run in them .

Zara ones are a bit more tottery but Aldo are a breeze - try them?

Aldo - don't like the heel on the Zara ones and pale grey suede and English weather not likely to be a good combo.

I like the idea, but don't quite like the cut of either of them. I prefer these: Flip*Flop in grey ('elephant')

have you seen the Ash Jalouse in Woodash? Just saying... but they are like the Aldo ones only (IMO) nicer.

I do like the Jalouse in theory but not on me. I like the shape of Flip*flop but not the crepey sole/heel. Think Aldo ones are the keepers.
