Can I have your opinions on these boden jumpers?

I have a budget to buy two jumpers. I think I'm definitely going to get
the toasty roll neck in black and grey, but I'd like to get views on these three:

cable swing jumper - in the turquoise but not sure about this colour
cotton audrey jumper or
Fairisle cardigan

Which one of these do you think is the nicest?

I've not bought jumpers from boden before so would also appreciate thoughts on what you think the quality would be like on these.

Thanks Life - will cross the fairisle cardi off the list and add the fairisle yoke to the list instead!

I dislike them all apart from the Audrey jumper. Agree with LifeofPo, the fairisle yoke jumper is lovely - shame all the colours would look awful on me.

I don't like any of them...I like the one you've already chosen though- toasty roll neck Grin

Thanks for all the honest replies ? choosing jumpers is not my strong point as I?m usually a dress person. I like the fairisle yoke jumper ? thoughts on colour? I quite like the mustard but not sure if it works with blonde hair. I suppose if paired with dark skinnies might look ok?

I looked at the Swing one today and decided the neckline with the raglan sleeves might look odd.

The Audrey- well so many Boden jumpers and dresses this season have the 'space suit' neckline- Teresa May was ridiculed for her suit with this neckline and although Boden is not so pronounced it's still a weird neckline IMO.

Fairisle- not sure TBH. On young people these trad/ retro designs look great but on the middle aged ( me) they can look old fashioned. colours are a bit garish IMO too.

Have you explored The White Company at all- codes AC217 is 20% off.

Thank yo so much for bringing my attention to the toasty jumper.

Have been looking in Boden every other day hoping they would be up for sale now.

I buy a couple every year. They are my Boden winter staple. They wash and wear really well. Really recommend them.

I'm honestly not fussed on any of those, sorry. I would personally go for the Juliet jumper as the detail is very flattering, probably in navy.

I also like the cashmere hoody in the ice blue shade 9aquamarine):

and I quite like the dip back cardy in winter azure (though I know you said jumpers):

I just ordered this jumper (pre-order) from Joules and can't wait to get it!

Meant to add: that swing jumper (with the cables flaring out) would give the illusion of looking wider around the hips, so if you have anything but the slimmest of hips, I would give it a wide berth. :)

The only problem with the Juliet is it's almost all cotton- for winter ? Shock

I like them all, but my first though with the swing one was the same as LeoandBoosmum - I'm pear-shaped and worry it would make me look like a Weeble.

Audrey is nice but not that warm for winter.

I think the Fairisle one is charming, but it's a but full-on for me and the colours aren't floating my boat. I bought a lambswool Fairisle cardi (well two actually Blush ) from them a couple of years ago. Nicer colours than these, for me, and the fairisle was only across the top, not all over. They have lasted brilliantly: very, very minimal bobbling, apart from that they look like new. Machine washable too.

The Chunky Cardigan is a similar beast to the roll-neck you like:

As is the Cable Half-zip:

I imagine these would be very warm, if not on the cutting edge of style. BUT you can get very similar items to these for half the price from Woolovers.

I don't like any of them, & for the price you can get much nicer, more flattering knitwear in better colours, elsewhere.

Boden jumpers are always a very odd shape. The cable swing jumper is particularly unflattering.

I do still like the first one I linked to..might just order a bunch and see how they fit and what the quality is like. Am going to give the swing jumper and the Audrey one a definite miss. I get very cold in winter so Cosy jumpers are what I'm after!
