Help me get a new wardrobe to go with my promotion!

I am shortly starting a new role on promotion - I will be working in a very senior role in central government. I need to look smart but not necessarily a suit - I prefer skirts and dresses, and slightly quirky in cut or colour, ideally with a matching jacket. I need to be taken seriously (I am quite young to be at this grade) but not be a faceless bureaucrat!

I am a size ten but need knee length and - ideally - sleeves. Blonde with blue eyes.

Budget is tricky - I won't get my pay rise through immediately, but could go to £150-£200 a dress. Help me please!

TIA

Congratulations! For smart, but a bit quirky, and within your budget try Other Stories and Cos.

Black dress with colour block panels
Navy dress
Yellow dress - I have seen this on in the shop and it looks fab
Good basic blazer
This would look good with a black blazer

In Cos just try everything on! Lots of it looks weird on the hanger but works when it's on you.

Also have a look at Hobbs - especially the NW3 stuff I love this print dress

Ooh, thanks! I have always been put off Cos by how things hang, but I think I need to get myself to Regents Street and try some things on
