the big lines on chest above boobs in a 'V' shape... how do we get rid?

You know those lines you get, especially if you have big boobs and are a certain age?
I'm only 38 but I appear to be that age...
Is there anything to be done about it or do I have to have a big V on my chest forever now?

I was a size 24 with humungus boobs and had them, now a size 14 and they have all but disappeared.

I am 55, and to have never used any mosituriser, and dont really have many lines on my face, but them neither did my Mother.

Think maybe its a genetic thing, combined with weight.

I'll get some coconut oil.

Apparently it's half price in Holland and Barret at the mo. smile

I put my coconut oil on before bed. I've convinced myself that it keeps my skin supple and stops the lines from 'setting' iykwim smile

I haven't really got them, am fairly average size and have sunbathed a lot in the past, I also sleep on my side. I'm sure it must be genetic.

I'm not feeling too smug though because I have got horrible old looking hands - think Madonna, and also have had very saggy old knees from about age 40, so its a good job my chest isn't lined as well or else I would have to cover up from neck to ankles.

Jus a thought but maybe one could make a bra like that... I sleep in those stretchy bra tops anyway, you could cut boob holes out and reenforce the middle section with some stiff felt or something?

I bought my mum Ren wild yam smoothing omega 7 body lotion once and cos its so expensive she just used it on her neck and decolletage - she's kept re buying it as its made a huge difference to the lines there, they've completely disappeared and her chest looks 30 not 60.

I sound like a dodgy sidebar advert don't I??

Oh interesting.. I've never heard of that.
Got the coconut oil now so trying that tonight smile

I have creased boobs. And old lady hands. And my face is sliding into my neck. I'm 34 and a size 10 <shakes fist at parents' iffy skin genes>

ren yam cream
Seems quite pricey but not too bad. I was thinking creme de la mer expensive.
Anyway I think the coconut oil is working already.... smile

On strength of this thread I bought the ren yam cream. Like it a lot but too early to say if it's helping. My chest lines disappear quickly in the morning but want to keep them at bay as long as possible.

That Nightbra thing looks really hot.

blush just re-read my comment. I meant really hot to sleep in, not really hot as in sexy. Easy to see why I'm not an author.

Keep us posted on how the Ren Yam cream goes.

I think the night bra is certainly not 'hot' but would be very hot. But I'm still going to try and make one.

Neals yard do a cream/potion specifically for that area. I have used it and it was quite effective.

BRa in bed or secret support gubbins vest?

garlicagain Sun 28-Jul-13 03:31:54

grin at the Nightbra. Couldn't you just wear a racer-back sports top the other way round?!

It wouldn't look hot on me ... they used a model with no need of any bra whatsoever, but I'd be more like a badly-set jelly in an onion bag!

garlicagain Sun 28-Jul-13 03:34:55

Oops, just seen you didn't mean that sort of hot blush I shall retire to work on my chest wrinkles forthwith.
