I can't believe it - the bra intervention really is amazing. I must say my boobs look amazing in my new bra!

If anyone hasn't done it, I urge you to get measuring according to the bra rules!! It's fab! I am evangelical about it!!

I really want to do this but where I am all bras seem to come in 'dress size + cup size' e.g 12D, 14D etc

How would I find out if I am wearing the wrong size bra?

I have been a trying on again, and come to the conclusion that my boobs are a slight problem. I Measure a 32E/DD but the bit that is supposed to lie flat between the boobs just doesn't on me without touching the breast tissue as mine are so close together. There is no gap between them if you see what I mean as one breast starts where the other finishes. Help!

scumbag are you in Australia (I think that is the sizing system over there?) if so, measure yourself according to the UK method and then convert the size. A 28 is a 6, a 30 is an 8 and so on. Which cup size you need will be a case of counting up through the cup sizes the brand does. If the brand skips doubles then you will need a bigger cup

i.e. uk goes A,B,C,D,DD,E,F,FF,G,GG,H,HH,J,JJ,K,KK,L
If the range you have is ABCDEFG then a 7" difference would be a G in your sizes or an F in ours.

ALternatively - and a lot of women overseas do this including in the US - order from the UK. Brastop and bravissimo do international delivery!

Isabelleringing I have this issue, incredibly close set boobs with no gap whatsoever. I even find plunges difficult as the end of the centre stabs me in the boobs! I have two solutions - I either wear bras where the gore is quite high, so although it is touching boob the pressure is well distributed so it's a lot less painful then a plunge or lower style. The other is Ewa Michalak - the centres of the S and SM styles are very narrow, I believe the PLs are too. I think they actually cross over the ends of the wires.

I thought I was a 36d or a 34c at a push. Looks like I need a 32g!

32FF as a start point but you will want to try sizes around it. Scooping is definitely advisable. If you want to wear wires (safe as long as bra fits) then you need to make sure all breast tissue is in the cup so the wire sits outside of it. Scooping is the way

I can also thank the bra women as my boobs also look so much better and feel fabulous! And regarding the issue of close boobs, I also do not have a gap but the bra had separated them comfortably and that bit is nearly flat between them.

Hi could I ask a question please?
I measured myself and have gone from a 34b to a 30dd. I ordered some basic bras from debenhams and have been giving them a trial run this evening. Is it supposed to feel really snug against you? It feels a bit uncomfortable but is that just because my others were to big?? I can fit 2 fingers under the band. I don't want to keep them if it isn't right. I can defo see the difference in the cup size though😊

I suspect it is right and just feeling strange. Give them a slightly longer trial run...plus it's night time and hot so if you are anything like me this doesn't help!

I am now in 34 G after years in 38C (35/43 for measurements), feels comfortable but itchy and slightly strange! If it digs in a bit under armpits, does this mean anything?

Armpits can be a style/shape issue. However, given how far off your previous bras were it is also quite possibly a getting used to it issue. If your old bra has been the wrong size then your body is used to different pressure points where the edge of the wires/cups/straps/back used to sit. It's a bit like wearing the same pair of shoes for a year then putting on a sandal - the skin isn't used to it. I'd maybe give this one a bit more time to see if it is just that. I'd imagine there is significantly more fabric towards/in your armpit than before which is bound to feel very odd

I don't have a problem with bras hurting, the centre just doesn't really sit flat whatever size I try. I have a fab cleavage though !

Not sure how to convert that into bra size as I would normally buy a 34a before dd but have been breastfeeding for a year and they've been massive and now small again !

An E cup on a 28 band is not equal to that on a 34 band. In volume terms it roughly equates to a 34C. I bet if you put on a 34A and scoop you get boob escaping all over the place

Finally got round to doing this. Can anyone advise me? I measured 35.5 under, 45.5 over. So should I be trying a 36 or 34? And what cup does that make me?

I'm wearing 38 DD but since I was last measured I've had a baby and put on weight!

Peaz try 36G and GG and 34 GG and H. Most women do better in the smaller bands if they are in between. Have you scooped in your DD? I'd expect boobs everywhere!
