What do you think. Just made £50 on Ebay and am seriously tempted....

I ordered this earlier! Loved the look of it online but after reading all these comments, I'm now thinking perhaps the sun has gone to my head!

Oh I only do judging, can't recommend stuff to save my life grin

grin I've never had so many responses to a post. Just a shame it's to out me as a wannabe librarian... Isn't geek chic in? grin

mysteryfairy Sat 06-Jul-13 13:23:52

I quite like it - wouldn't wear it myself but can easily imagine it on a shoreditch person. It kind of reminds me of an Orla Kiely dress and her dresses are a lot funkier than the oilskin bags (and not done to death). However judging by a lot of the reactions you might be able to trace its downwards trajectory through the sales and snaffle for a more bargainous price!

I will be completely honest. I think its very, very ugly.
It looks like clichéd outfit of a frumpy librarian in the 1960s, all you need to asscessorize it is a plait coiled into a bun and glasses on a chain. smile
But hey if that's your look then more power to ya!

GobblersKnob Sat 06-Jul-13 11:13:22

I had to look, thinking 'poor op, it can't be THAT bad'.

But JESUS, my eyes. No.

LadyIsabellaWrotham Sat 06-Jul-13 11:11:08

Are you Alexa Chung OP? If so, defo get it, you'll look fantastic. If not, best not.

Floggingmolly Sat 06-Jul-13 11:04:52

That's something Miss Jean Brodie would wear.

newestbridearound Sat 06-Jul-13 10:58:45

I actually think it looks okay on the model, wasn't keen when just seeing it close up though. I agree there are other things I'd probably choose first for that money but then again it would make me look like a sack of potatoes!

FrugalFashionista Sat 06-Jul-13 10:34:46

If you are cool and edgy and arty it could work (hipster girls in my part of town definitely could pull it off), but if you are just a normal mortal, it's a bit daunting.

Tweet2tweet Sat 06-Jul-13 10:26:48

Dear billsticker, thank you. Show me better..... I am obviously misguided and need fashion help grin

justgivemeareason Sat 06-Jul-13 09:36:27

Maybe if you are very tall, skinny and cool you could pull it off.

Blimey it's not that. Bad

But you could get better for 150 quid

Tweet2tweet Sat 06-Jul-13 06:18:48

Ha ha ha- so that's a no then wink

Casmama Fri 05-Jul-13 23:25:48

KnockMeDown Fri 05-Jul-13 22:42:30

Who would have thought that frumpy could be got for so much ££££ !!!

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. It looks like a cross between Madeline and a nun in disguise as a traffic light. Just no.

CajaDeLaMemoria Fri 05-Jul-13 22:16:46

Noooooooo.

Please don't do it. I'm usually each to their own with clothes, but you risk offending people's eyes with that!

ItsQuiteHardtocomeupwithaname Fri 05-Jul-13 22:15:39

Yuk yuk yuk. Bit of a scary look

MummaBubba123 Fri 05-Jul-13 22:14:27
