So I read about a lot of so called miracle products in the magazines but would love to know from you lovely ladies what are the products you love, that you can't live without..?

SalBeautyMoll Fri 25-Oct-13 19:09:12

DaisyRoseHyacinth Fri 25-Oct-13 18:55:22

L'Oreal Telescopic mascara
Clinique foundation
Mitchum roll on (scented or unscented)
Seche Vite
Bobbi Brown eyebrow stuff (sorry, can't remember what it's called but it has a mascara type wand and is foolproof, for fools like me)
Witch hazel gel

LeoandBoosmum Fri 25-Oct-13 15:25:09

Kiehl's supremely gentle eye make up remover (and lasts ages!)

Dior powder shadows

Chantecaille future skin foundation

Laura Mercier kohl pencil in black gold (other colours available...they are like blackened shades if that makes sense?)

Fresh supernova mascara (Fresh store, London)

pseudonymity Fri 25-Oct-13 15:15:15

Lily Lolo mineral foundation
MAC lipsticks
Face oil, body oil
La Roche Posay hand cream, also on feet
Micellar cleanser

WallyBantersJunkBox Fri 25-Oct-13 11:12:36

Revive night cream (it exfoliates through the night)
Kevin Murphy Hydrate me rinse (conditioner)
Shu Uemura facial oil cleanser
Avéne Micellar water - when you can't be bothered at night - this product is a miracle for removing make up and grime.
Brazil nut body scrub from the Body Shop - no point spending tonnes of money on something that washes down the drain
Palmers Moisturizer - although it's heavy I have never found a better body moisturizer.

MrsFlorrick Fri 25-Oct-13 11:02:57

Hazelnut oil (for skin and hair. High in protein so makes hair fab again)

Japanese Rice Bran oil for ocm (cleansing).

Akamuti body oils (flower one and the lavender one)

Earth Friendly Baby Lavender body wash and shampoo.

Earth friendly baby lavdender body lotion.

RMS Beauty "un-cover" as foundation

Neals Yard mineral make up powder (its so light and doesn't contain any zinc oxide which my skin hates. It's more like a top powder rather than foundation as it has virtually no coverage).

Nars matte lip pencils in "Bettina" and "sex machine".

FaddyPeony Fri 25-Oct-13 10:19:15

Coconut oil to cleanse
Sudocreme for spots
Lily Lo Lo mineral foundation - I'm proper screwed if they ever stop making this, it's the only foundation that doesn't make me feel like I'm wearing make-up
Benefit Boiing concealer
Max Factor cream blush
Max Factor mascara
Rimmel 60 seconds nail varnish - I'll never buy another nail varnish again, this sets fast and it lasts
Aveeno menthol/oat body lotion

Those are the only thing I buy repeats of, but I'll likely be adding Aveda Black Malva s/c to that list.

PalakPaneer Fri 25-Oct-13 10:10:20

Organix Moroccan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner. Way better than any Kerastase or Aveda product I have used.
Moroccan Oil by M
Keratin treatments
Coconut oil (when having a non hair day i.e. not going anywhere run a tablespoon through hair and put up in a pony and/ or do the same overnight.
Tangle Teaser and the wooden combs from Body Shop

La Roche Posay Toleraine
Neils Yard Frankincense moisturiser (thx Mumsnetters)
Este Lauder Advance Night Repair Serum - my skin is looking best ever since using this.
Bioderma makeup remover - sensitive range, use for eyes
SKII eye film

rootypig Fri 25-Oct-13 09:58:06

Clarins Blue Lotus oil (balances and hydrates skin, use at night)
Elemis tri enzyme wash with Clarisonic (gets the vile city I live in out of my face)
Kerastase Aqua Seal cream (shine and softness for my super thick hair without making it greasy or heavy, better than a serum)
Clinique glossy mascara black brown (never clumps, natural effect but somehow transformative)
Clinique bottom lash mascara, as above!
YSL Vernis a Levres (gloss that finishes like a lipstick and fades to a stain in the best colours ever, defines your face without being too much)
NARS radiant creamy concealer (liquid concealer that covers everything but melts into your skin)
Bobbi Brown blush in Slopes (beautiful flattering powder blush, suits everyone)
Topshop kohl pencils (like MAC but 1/3 of price)

EMUZ got in there before me but I second the Urban Decay Potion Eyeshadow Primer. I never knew about eyeshadow primer before I got this recently and it is a miracle product.
I also love:
Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow Palette
Estee Lauder Doublewear foundation
Clarins Beauty Flash Balm
Molton Brown Warming Eucalyptus shower gel
L'Occitane Lavender hand cream
My japanese washcloth (mine's Shiseido I think) is amazing for keeping skin soft and dries out really quickly too and long so you can wash your whole back easily
For my hair my favourite shampoo/ conditioner is Pantene. Have tried others but always end up coming back to this. Nothing makes my hair feel as nice.

EMUZ Wed 03-Jul-13 16:27:32

Urban decay potion primer - eye makeup doesn't budge with this on
L'oreal everpure coloured hair conditioner - works for my v dry hair
Mac woodwinked eyeshadow - just a lovely colour
Real techniques stippling brush - makes me look airbrushed
Lush Feeling younger - amazing highlighter I mix with foundation

I use coconut oil (very sparingly) to tame flyaway hair, but the one time I tried using it as a mask I ended up with chip shop hair. I now swear by Lush Jasmine and Henna Fluff Eaze mask (longish, wavy, fine but lots of it hair).

From other peoples lists I am adding
Soap and Glory footfile
Leighton Denny Crystal File
Mitchum unperfumed roll-on

And

Essie Sugar Daddy nail varnish, probably use this more than all my other colours put together.
Also fast drying topcoats - tried several, all good.

Quite a few things mentioned here that I haven't got on with at all, but don't want to start making the thread negative!

Scarletohello Wed 03-Jul-13 15:48:17

Thanks all! Realising now this thread might have been more useful if I'd asked people to say their age, their skin/ hair type and why they loved certain products as we're all so different, certain things will work for some not others....

squoosh Wed 03-Jul-13 15:33:51

Babyliss Big Hair styler.

What is BBH?

kiwigirl42 Wed 03-Jul-13 15:24:29

- factor 50 sunscreen (sunsense and heliocare both good - have just bought Avene factor 50 mineral cream to try as mineral based (ie zinc) sunscreens rather than chemical ones are supposed to be better/ more effective)

- LRP Effaclar K - have not had one spot since I started using this daily on t zone. Blackheads have disappeared too. on to 3rd tube now.

squoosh Wed 03-Jul-13 15:13:56

The trick with washing coconut oil out of your hair is not to wet your hair first. Lather some shampoo up in your hand, rub that into the oily hair and then rinse.

Skinheadmermaid Wed 03-Jul-13 15:06:54

Umbertto Gianni hair scrunching jelly. I'm terrified that one that they'll stop making it and i will be bereft!
Vaseline intensive moisturiser, absorbs really quickly.
Barry m black liquid eyeliner. Stays dark and stays on even after a two hour jui juitsu class or getting soaked in the rain.

Everything else i use i could probably find replacements for.

Leviticus Wed 03-Jul-13 15:00:48

Laura Mercier for Tweezerman 'doughnut' tweezers.

Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream

Neal's Yard rose facial oil

Tangle Teezer

Bare Minerals base and concealer

Max Factor mascaras

BerryBlast Wed 03-Jul-13 14:52:41

Neugrogena hand cream (the light version)

BBH - like the other poster I was devastated when I couldn't use it in Canda.

Bourjois Health Mix Foundation (the serum one) which I use all over my face and Bourjois 123 foundation, which I use to cover up some broken veins on my chin. I use the same colour foundation and they match completely.

Aveeno creamy oil body moisturiser.

Mitchum deodorant.

Elmis Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Facial Wash.

Jammygal Wed 03-Jul-13 14:52:07

Emma hardie balm
Leighton Denny crystal nail file
tweezerman tweezers
Shu uemura eyelash curlers
Soap and glory foot file
Quickies nail polish remover wipes
