Love to you Shop....

Queen I did post about where I have been in Morocco but think it's on tale end of #13.

Thanks mig I just read it. I'm really looking forward to it although I'm terrified of snakes! I'm going with 5 other best friends for our 40ths.

I agree that I love this thread for finding like minded people. No judgement if you have money or not. In fact no judgement at all.

Dd2 woke up crying so I've given her a cuddle in my bed. I think she's fallen asleep on me. Do I dare try to put her back in her cot or sleep with her all night as she's all warm and snugly

I should have said on the first post for those of you wondering what MN vogue is, it's a place to chat about clothes/shopping/style etc. no judgement whatsoever. And we love links!

Feeling nostalgic for a cuddly little kid Queen. Keep her with Smile...I didn't see any snakes in Morocco(reassuring Smile) but I did see a lot of Lizards and spiders (evil Grin).

I imagine you'd see them in the Medina's and I didn't spend much time in towns. 80's Morocco wasn't as sole-woman-traveller friendly as it is now.

here's some Moroccan fashion design to look at

shop hope you're ok!

I spoke to soon, DS has vomited a few times during the night and had a slight fever this morning. Poor DH got vomited on a couple of times.

I just hope it's a mild tummy bug and that he doesn't end up in hospital again with dehydration.

Yawn!

Hi everyone, may I join in? Currently on maternity leave with 1st DC (4.5 month DS) and feeling extremely unstylish after living in yoga pants and pyjamas for the last few months so hoping to kick start feeling a bit more me with some fashion chat if that makes sense.

Morning and welcome Gwen... Do stay it's nice here. That dress is lovely and for the price Shock
QueenC hope you snuggled. I miss those times ( and that intoxicationg smell not nappies ) although I do still get the occasional hug from my two sometimes have to chase them round the house in comedy fashion to get one though, ridiculous since DS is 6ft and DD same height as me

Dh made me put her back in her cot. Just as well really as she was leaning against my technicolor bruised tum so think it would have been too painful to snuggle all night.

Welcome gwen. I adore that age of 4 months where they are just starting to interact and hold things . It's not quite the same with a 2 year old.

Off to the dress agency today to see if I can earn some dosh, then helping in ds reception class!

Thanks Dry

As the dress was so cheap I boringly copied the model's styling and bought some pointy red flats to go with it.

Bought two more dresses from HofF sale but not so sure about them.

Deciding on an outfit now for a picnic in the park. Not that the babies attending will care but still....

Thanks for the welcome Queen yes, he is currently gurgling away to me in a very profound way (he's clearly a genius Wink). Just wish he would sleep a bit more at night!!

Hello everyone and welcome to Gwen. Those are good sale prices. We will definitely help kick start you Smile...We can recommend some lovely PJ's too as I spend as much time as I can in them. Are you on Pinterest?

Dry I did contact the nature reserve trust people and they got all frightened and defensive thinking I was going to sue them. After reassuring them that I am not, they agreed to go check out the latch.

I still have this rotten headache but hopefully it'll abate soon. Today I am wearing Kooples mustard wrap skirt, grey sweatshirt (again, bit of a thing for them) and these flat sandals.

Right - morning all! Flowers
Firstly - welcome Gwen and congrats on even being remotely interested in clothes with a 4m old - it took me at least a year to care again :) Do you have a link to the red flats? And are you on Pin?
Next up - I am still happily married. Thank you all sooooooo much for your quite fabulous emails - you've been amazing as always. We had a good talk last night. We're both struggling to cope with the change with the new job, and had added stress this weekend with his family staying. We also have some ongoing legal problems at the moment that are adding to things. We've both apologised and hopefully this will be a better week. I think he scared himself with what he said as he told me he was up all night terrified I was actually going to leave so perhaps a lesson learnt there?
Linus sorry to hear DS is still poorly - poor you - sending ((((( ))))))
I would love to go to Morrocco - we looked at it for our honeymoon but went to the Amalfi coast in the end instead which was fab - still on my list of places to visit though
Marsha Hope the new job is going well.
And in fashion related news - today I'm wearing A&W red chinos, cream AV tom sweat, Fat Face deck shoes (yes I said the FF word!!!!!) Grin Feel a bit crap TBH - probably the FF effect - or perhaps the puffy eyes. Anyone fancy sharing their top tips for eliminating eye bags and dark circles (and hayfever redness) - I'm gorgeous, truly gorgeous.....

Phew Shop! Good to hear it was one of those really stupid things you say and then regret. Always plenty of shoulders, ears, S&B chat here for you and Brew with the occasional Wine!

Thanks for all the welcomes everyone Smile

Tried to find a link to the flats but they don't seem to be online (bought them in-store from Debenhams).

Lovely PJs sound great Mignonette recs welcome. I have some nice ones from M&S but otherwise tend to stick with yoga pants. Tried to find some cotton, button-up ones pre-pregnancy and didn't have much luck.

I am on Pinterest but haven't been very active lately, my username is 2muchstuff

Have found a few of you on there this morning already Smile

Mignonnette those sandals are amazing. Although I always worry about an ankle strap on me as I have a bit of a terror of my calves appearing 'stout'!

shop so glad you talked things through.

mig did you say yesterday that you were at work? Please rest up.

marsha how was yesterday?

I'm gutted. Ds teacher is off sick so understandably the supply doesn't want me to come and help. Guess I'm stuck with housework now!

shop so pleased you had a good talk. chin up darling. x

welcome gwen!

awww queenc, think of the shiny clean house you will have in a few hours. I love the end result, it gets me through the boringness of actually doing it

wearing grey wang skirt with red zoe k tee and vejas today. charcoal hooded sweat over the top for some of the SR - the bits out of the sun! the skirt rides up a bit as i walk - is anyone else having this problem? it ends up super short, not that i'm averse to getting my pins out...

glorious here, just making coffee and setting up for a day of hanging out with DS. will report back on the CE cargos, kind of hoping they are not amazing as the are expensive.
