Would this dress age me prematurely?? (I'm in my 20s...)

Not so keen on the grey. Love the other colors.

It's a bit like a monk or nun outfit. I think it would be very unforgiving if you had even the smallest bulge anywhere. Also think the colour is very drab.

Sorry - that was very negative.

I think you can do better. Sorry.

Hmm I'm not a fan. I generally like a cowl neck, but I don't know if I'm keen on it on a maxi dress.

The brighter colour is slightly better than the grey one.

I'm 39 and would not wear it for that reason (mussiness) - the sacky shape, the lack of detailing and the afterthoughts for sleeves.

mumsiness

rockybalboa · 22/06/2013 17:53

Not sure about being mumsy but there is nothing nice about it at all, sorry!

I'm dithering I really am. What it has going for it is that it's the right length... Very rare for a shorty like me!

I was going to try and be tactful...but I think it's vile, sorry.

I am in my late 40s and I think it would look awful on me. But as you are in your 20s I reckon you could get away with it.

I like it.

I like it (28). What you wear with it makes the outfit, ie i would wear a biker jacket/denim jacket, metallic bag and converse. http://tryingyummymummy.blogspot.co.uk/2013/06/metallic-cross-body-bags-and-dip-dye.html?m=1 like this

try again like this

Ohh I like the dip-dye effect of that dress

I think it's lovely, especially at that price!

I'm 30 and I wouldn't wear it. It's the upper half of the dress that isn't good. Sorry.

The model presumably has a perfect bod underneath it, but even SHE doesnt look good in it. Its not flattering round the waist or hips or boobs or legs or shoulders

Report
TondelayoSchwarzkopf · 22/06/2013 18:21

I think your dress is a nicer colour / shape and a more tailored waist Pixie - devil is in the details.

If I put up a pic of me in it is it possible for me to delete it after?

It's just so drab.

Possibly yes. Agree also that it doesn't flatter the model.

Tragically unable to speak as a twenty year old (that ship is a mere dot on the horizon) but I have that dress in blue, it's completely un-mumsy and very flattering, aaaaannnd my sister (size 8, and spectacularly glamorous ) bought it too ( independently - we don't copy each othe ). Have had loads of compliments on it.
