Would you go the 'full trollop'?

Have a wedding coming up, which is exciting for two reasons:

  1. friend marrying a gazillionaire, so a rare occasion for me to pretend to be fancy
  2. is old school friend, so will be seeing lots of people I haven't seen for many years and certainly not post-children.

So, would you wear the Ghost dress - navy, patterned, perfectly nice, but safe?

Or the Acne dress - pink silk, quite out there - not slutty in a TOWIE way, but will probably require tape to avoid side-boob.

I probably should have seen the light at the words 'side-boob', but WWYD?

no side boob -- you can do stunning without worrying about wardrobe malfunction.

I vote neither without having seen the pictures.

'fraid I'm tending that way too but didn't want to be harsh before the fact Wink

I'd be tempted to tart it up but listen to the sensible people not me Grin

Acne dress

(Looks nicer on a body, I think)

Ghost dress

Can't find a pic of the same pattern though - mine is navy squares, faintly tribally...

Personally I'd go for something like the Ghost dress, but scarlet!
(inner slapper dying to come out...)

Acne, but only if you genuinely feel comfortable in it and won't spend the day yanking it because of side-boob anxiety.

I vote pink! The ghost one looks like a natwest uniform.

Pink one's lovely

The colour of the pink dress is lovely, but I'm trying to visualise the potential for side-boobage. Are those long flappy bits entirely open to public view? Surely not!

Onesleeptillwembley · 20/05/2013 17:30

the pink one looks a bit 'sack' - y, would need to see it on. The other isn't a 'function' dress, but I really like it for other things, very reasonable price, as well.

Love the acne one but would have to be in great shape to wear that!

Yaaay!

I have no mind of my own, so I genuinely am just going to do whatever MN tells me.

So... next question. Has anyone ever forayed into the world of the stick on bra? Or does anyone have any sage advice on that front. They aren't huge but I can't go braless.

Pink one (with nude vest underneath?)

The place for a nip slip is not at a wedding.

Yes noddy. Plan to 5 2 like a maniac to shed the last bits of baby weight. It's a good incentive, seeing everyone who ever knew you when you were 19 and lithe...
