Facial oil

I've been using the Superdrug Vitamin E oil and really like it, but the bottle is nearly finished. Shall I buy another bottle, or is there another lovely skin oil I could be trying instead? I've used Decleor before but tbh the SD one is probably better (and about a tenth of the price).

Are there any nice mid-priced ones that are worth a go?

I've never tried the Superdrug one, but green people is lovely: greenpeople.co.uk/facial-oil-30ml.aspx

Also their hydrating serum is lovely, and a little cheaper. Depends on your price range??

I really rate the Superdrug Vit E oil, it's done the world of good for my old acne scars. I've cut down to using it a couple of times a week and it's still helping. It's definitely worth the price you pay for it

Thanks Currently - I want to be able to buy in a real shop though. Up to about £15 but it would have to be really good, since the SD one is so stupidly cheap!

Trilogy Rosehip Oil is gorgeous, and they also make a new antioxidant version which I've not tried but it has had good reviews.

Oils for face? I love oils...but I have never applied those for face...doesn't skin look greasy after a couple of hours in the city.

Superdrug Vitamin E oil seems to be pretty good. I didn't manage to find any negative reviews concerning. www.pissedconsumer.com/browse-reviews/cosmetics.html

I only use facial oils at night because of the oily face conundrum ( rarely set foot in a city though!?! as I live on the Isle of Wight! )

I alternate between Clarins Lotus oil and Trilogy Rosehip, although I also use plain old jojoba oil, which is much cheaper and is equally as good, just doesn't smell as nice.

Incidentally, I think the Trilogy Rosehip is much nicer than the Pai one. It doesn't smell so bad (strong) and sinks into the skin much nicer - it seems more refined and soothing.

Liz Earle Superskin oil is brilliant. (Definitely doesn't make your face oily incidentally.)

I love Trilogy Rosehip oil too. Sinks in immediately and I use it in the morning (and night) and put my make up on top. I did think it would make my skin too oily but in fact it has been fine. My skin is so much better- more balanced and fine lines look better. My skin is combination and I don't need any moisturiser over the top. At night I use 2/3 drops and mornings 2 drops.

Was just going to post about the liz earle one. Smells lovely, feels lovely and I think my skin looks better after using it. I only use at night.

The Clarins facial oils are good - the lotus is for combination skin, and the blue orchid for dehydrated skin.

Neals Yard rose facial oil is also lovely, very natural, and smells delicious.

I was going to mention Decleor too - I personally really like their balms and oils. I appreciate they're expensive though.

I use plain old olive oil at night under moisturiser. Have used Trilogy in the past but didn't rate it at all for my dehydrated skin

Trilogy rosehip, lovely, sinks in well and doesn't make my skin feel greasy. I can even wear it in the day under makeup if I just use a couple of drops.

If you have very dry skin you can use a moisturiser over the top at night as well.

Another vote for Clarins, I only use it at night but my skin looks great!

I only use it at night. Tbh the Vitamin E one is so good that I might just buy that again, though I'm also tempted by Neal's Yard as I really rate their stuff (apart from the handcream, which smells divine but does precisely nowt).

I use Liz Earle, Trilogy and an organic argan oil. I've also used an Aromatherapy Associates one - rose and frankinsence

Have tried the green people one and the clarins ones but I always come back to the superdrug vit e one - It's the best one hands down and so cheap you can buy it and then still treat yourself to something else

I love facial oils, but haven't actually found one better than the Superdrug Vit E one. And it's stupidly cheap.

Actually, I think the whole range is brilliant - love the hot cloth cleanser, and the day cream. There's just no point buying anything else.
