This is year 3 for me, can do them for work, le soir or every day. LOvely cotton with stretch. SIze is actually accurate compared to most Gap trousers, Need a belt to look cool imho.

Alicethecamelshump Tue 07-May-13 20:27:01

Nehru, you do know that the size 8 you see is a UK 12? You add 4 to the size it says on label.

Alicethecamelshump Tue 07-May-13 20:28:50

Sorry, I posted twice.

YoniOno Tue 07-May-13 20:32:45

Damn it,, I am waiting for a 30% off before buying and could do without your needless sellout causing promotion of them Nehru angry

Nehru Tue 07-May-13 20:55:27

NO alice

this was a UK 8

I KNOW

Nehru Tue 07-May-13 20:56:37

sorry ONo! grin

I ordered that t shirt dress that is 25% off today. cocked up and ordered the orange one. Had a nice Live chat chat with Laura W who refunded postage on the replacement

YES LISTEN to that stinky Next

Nehru Tue 07-May-13 20:57:26

agree china
ALL Gap trews are huge apart from these

Alicethecamelshump Tue 07-May-13 21:01:44

As long as you KNOW. Thought you had made the mistake I had that's all.

Alicethecamelshump Tue 07-May-13 21:03:49

I do apologise Nehru.

Nehru Tue 07-May-13 21:04:48

oh no prob - easily done! grin

landofsoapandglory Tue 07-May-13 21:09:47

I like them but wouldn't have a clue what size to buy. My size 8 Gap Khakis fall down without a belt, I am a 10 in every other shop, so any ideas where I should start? A 6 perhaps?

chibi Tue 07-May-13 21:16:00

well i got a 12 but i am a 12 everywhere

a 12 in shops where other 12s need a 4, a 12 in stores where other 12s need a 16

i am some kind of anomaly

anyway these trousers fit my statistically unfeasible arse magnificently

landofsoapandglory Tue 07-May-13 21:23:47

Thanks chibi.

Nehru Tue 07-May-13 21:42:16

No. For the crops a ten

Nehru Tue 07-May-13 21:42:49

That's for lands. But your normal size. The LONG ones size down

If I have to buy these in a size smaller than my usual, I shall be buying them in every colour!

landofsoapandglory Tue 07-May-13 22:03:42

Ah, ok Nehru!

PinkMangoSays Tue 07-May-13 22:09:13

These look really good for everything! I normally can't buy Gap as they are just too masshoosive, if these come up fairly true to size then size 2 should be ok?

PinkMangoSays Tue 07-May-13 22:10:15
Nehru Tue 07-May-13 22:17:38

Pink. Are you a 2?
For the crops take your normal uk size

PinkMangoSays Wed 08-May-13 00:00:12

I haven't bought any trousers in a long time except topshop jeans which I'm a 24 in. I tend to wear those jeans or leggings.

Nehru Wed 08-May-13 06:18:36

I can't imagine being a 2. Teeny!

Onanightlikethis Wed 08-May-13 07:35:04

I bought 2 pairs of these on Sunday - navy and stone. Plus a pair of skinny mini chinos. My first foray into non denim leg wear, I'm pleased with them, but they need a belt .
Kitten heels for evening , gladiators in the day. As I'm so small, these are nearly full length!

dollyindub Wed 08-May-13 10:33:02

paulapantdown I feel your pain!
I too have calves that a rugby player would be proud of.
I would love to wear chic little cropped trousers but on me they just look ridiculous (that's if I can get the damn things on)

Big calves thread needed! grin

Fuckitthatlldo Wed 08-May-13 13:18:34

I love these trousers. I have a pair in black and another pair in dark red.

You're right, the sizing is huge though. I need a size 6 in these and I'm normally an 8.
