I don't think the split would look tarty no. I don't really like the dress much myself, I think it's the two tone that puts me off but if you have the right figure, I'm sure it could look lovely.

Don't think the split would look tarty either. Also not mad about the two-tone. Would like it more if it was all denim. But with the right shape it would look good I think. It's a bit different.

Mmm. You should accessorise with cowboy boots and a Stetson.

Hmm

Hate it! But I'm not keen on denim on grown women apart from jeans. Bit 'Prisoner Cell Block H' to me.

A split is never an issue IMO, especially if you have a good pair of legs BUT the denim is vile. Like lisaro I think denim on adults, bar jeans or shorts, looks terrible. Scrap that, head to toe denim on anyone or any age, gender or race looks dire. Two tone or no two tone.

Denim aside, the dress is a beautiful.

Will probably try it anyway! Grin

Like it. The split is not too tarty. But I say that as a tart myself.

Looks a bit 90s...

Eek! It's really vile - the weird wiggly hem is a bit odd, sorry op - sort of thing that looks weird in RL.

Sorry but the dress is horrible! It looks cheap, and the kind of thing Miss Selfridge sold circa 1997.

The comment about B*witched is spot on.

I think the dress looks cheap and it isn't. I would steer well clear.

Not keen on the demin but I am loving the word 'tarty'. :)

I nearly like it!
If it didn't have the patch pocket and two tone shoulders it would be nice.

I always think of KM as a bit "tarty" generally, as it all a bit too tight or shiny, odd I know.

flipchart · 08/05/2013 10:04

I have a few KM dresses. Not one of them is tight or shiney! If they were I would look like a Christmas tree bauble?

There is plenty of fabric behind the split, so doesn't look tarty at all. Which isn't to say I like it, but no, not tarty.

euwa · 08/05/2013 10:50

I think it would only look tarty if you accessorised it in a tarty fashion otherwise it would look good.

Bit waggy, but I'm not a KM fan.

Well it's ordered so I shall have to wait and see if I look like a Stetson wearing b*witched tart! Grin
