Could any of you fine ladies recommend one please?

Cheers m'dears.

Thanks Chocs - I had another look at the YR website last night and found that my old favourite has been revived, so I am going to put in an order (website didn't work properly on my phone last night). I wonder if I will still like it, it has been about 25 years. I will try the Rose as well.

Sounds lovely Who, let us know what freebies you get!

I really think that mailorder only shops should sell tester or sample sets. it would really get customers in.

Thierry Mugler's Rose d'Angel is lovely, and well reviewed by scent heads. I get mine on eBay in an unboxed shop sample bottle to keep the cost down.

Just ordered a box of fragrances, samples etc from Yves Rocher [excited]

what fragrances did you order? I have looking all over their site for a mixed box of perfumes but couldn't find any.

Not a mixed box, just three separate ones, and three fragrance samples, sorry that was badly phrased. The honeysuckle (which was my old fave), rose and lilac. Figure at those prices I can use them as room sprays if they don't suit me.

Another Paul Smith Rose fan here, but they did a Rose Summer Edition a couple of years back and it was gorgeous. I got so many compliments when wearing it but they don't seem to make it any more. sad

Just tried a spray of Serge Lutens Sa Majeste La Rose in John Lewis, but wasn't bowled over. A bit sickly for me; I'll stick with the Frederic Malle Une Rose.

Drooling over all those descriptions of rose-scented sponge cakes...smile

I tried Annick Goutal"s Rose Splendide. I found it nice, but very strong, I didn't expect it to be as tenacious and as long lasting as it was as I always think of rose perfumes to be like the stuff you made as a kid with rose petals in a jam jar, but it was quite a fresh realistic smelling rose. So anyone who wants a rose perfume that lasts could try this one.
