Hotter shoes??

I know I should be ashamed to be even looking, but I need comfy summer shoes. Something to go with casual summer dresses.

Please bear in mind that I have no desire to be fashionable or even particularly stylish, just to look OK Smile (and be comfortable) Blush

They're awful. I like comfortable shoes too. But.... there are limits. Keep looking.

Oh dear. No - just no.

Try Gabor - some of them are fairly inoffensive.

Weeeelllll.

For Hotter ( who keep blooming sending me catalogues WTF) that's ok. Only the teal. And I think they would wear out/ go like boats very quickly, which for the price....

Ok, I get it Grin

Althings, flat doesn't automatically mean comfortable though - there's no way those synthetic thin soled shoes are comfortable.

Have you tried gel insoles? Primark sell them specifically for flat shoes, they could be worth a look?

The pumps that Oliver linked to are ridiculously comfy, I have them in black. Leather as well.

They really are great, they don't feel anything like normal pumps. They're not the most fashionable pumps, but they're 10x as comfortable, and will last 10x as long.

Jesus, great if you're going for Henry VIII's jester's job. Not so great in 2013.

My horrendous bunions, which are only getting worse, leave me very few shoe options. I am now down to ecco, m and s footglove wide fitting and hotter. And so the choice tends towards the granny. Much as i would love to wear more stylish shoes, i just can't. If you're not forced towards these type of shoes, OP, don't buy them! I would go for the ones you've linked to in your OP, but if you dont have problem feet, then shop around. I completely agree with you about the very flat hush puppies though, shoes as flat as that would be agony for me.

Have a look at Shoon, they do a lot of comfy ranges. Some look better than others.

happy. I have a bunion too. I don't like to admit it but probably it will have to be treated.
