I'm wanting a pair as they look so comfy.....but do I risk looking like mutton? Or a Rita ora groupie?

I want a pair too. DH screwed his face up. I fear I'm not "cool" enough to pull them off. Have you checked out Doesmybumlook40 blog? She has some and she looks fabbbbbbb in them.

Only if you are
A. Young
B. very trendy, it's no use wearing these with a m&s waterfall cardigan and jeans from Asda. Lol
Preferably A & B
They do look comfy though! I'm tempted but am nearing 50 so its a no for me!

i blinking LOVE mine, super comfortable and I would add to the above list (c) is short. they do need a skinny leg profile - tights or tight jeans tho'

I bought 2 pairs of the suede Ash ones, worn both of them a couple of times. They are really comfortable but i'm not sure if they are me.
Contemplating putting them on ebay to be honest.
I'm 40 by the way.

I have 3 pairs.. I love them , I got them from new look as I don't actually like the ash ones. Lovely and comfy
So what does one wear them with? Even Zara have some!

I don't see them as a young thing - more of a smart look & haven't noticed anyone under 30 wearing them.
TBF it could be that younger women only wear them at night, in places I am too old to go these days
.
I'm 28 and have a couple of pairs which I wear a lot.

I think lots of women over forty are wearing them -so if you like them buy them-haven't seen anyone under thirty wearing them IRL.
I'm 40 and have one pair which I love. So comfy, and make my size 7 feet look smaller (believe it or not!).

I'm 45 and love them. Have one pair that I bought from Ebay for £20 (indistinguishable from the Ash versions as far as I'm concerned
) and I wear them all the time. Very comfy, make my feet look smaller too and they're casual but still quite smart. They do need skinny jeans or trousers, though.

Currently wearing mine right now! Grey Ash ones. Worn with dark blue skinny jeans from Paige and a navy & black stripped silk long sleeved / round necked top from Maison Scotch.
Am 43.

I've got red and tan ash ones which I love but find them a bit narrow. Also a pair of sketchers in black that look like distressed black converse hi tops but with a hidden wedge, love these more as they are super confortable. Wear with skinny jeans as discussed

ifancy - love the sound of your outfit
Anyone seen any good cheapie ones? I bought Ash Thelmas for £29 off Shopaholics back in about November, and stupidly returned them as I couldn't imagine wanting to wear them. Now that I'm pretending Spring is here, I fancy a pair again. I'm quite tempted by these - they had some on the everything5pounds website but sold out.

Have a look at new look or Dorothy Perkins for cheap ones. eBay has loads too. Depends on what colours you are after .
In the interests of balance, I thought it important that I say that I think they're fucking awful

Possibly a bit unfortunate for the older wearer.
Me neither! Where is the for sale section?
