I have got a Curvy Kate Portia bra to try on, and I'm not sure if it fits me or not. I'm guessing if I have to ask, the answer is no, but let me describe!

So, its a 32GG - I'm normally 32G or GG depending on the individual bra.

When I first tried it on, it was a great fit around the band, and the wires sit snug to my chest in the middle, so far so good. But it looked a bit big in the cup (hooray! I'm never happier than when a bra is too big!). But, the straps needed tightened for a proper fit and so I did that. Suddenly it seems that although there seems to be a bit of extra space in the cups, if I stand up straight and adopt my best posture (not arching my back and sticking my chest out, just standing up straight), the silhouette is no longer so perfect and there might be the tiniest tiniest hint of overspill along the top seam, even though the cups themselves seem to have a little bit of space in them! So, presumably it must just not be the right shape for me. Does this mean my boobs are more full on the top or something? Any ideas? The fit is so very nearly right, but I just feel its not quite perfect.

Does it gape at the front when you lean over slightly? Or gap at the sides near your armpits? If so it may be too big a cup (maybe best way to tell us get a smaller one and try?)
Best thing though is that it's comfortable and feels supportive. As an owner of 32FFs I know the joy of feeling support!

Watching with interest treacle as I have the same think with curvy Kate and a couple of Fauve, very nearly perfect but with slight double boobage.

The gaping would be more across the seam that runs diagonally up the front if that makes sense. The wires in the middle lie really flat in to my ribs, the best fit I've probably ever had in that respect. No gaping at the armpits or the front. Its really hard to describe to be honest. Its almost like if I could just pinch half a centimetre off that front seam, but make it half a centimetre bigger across the top of the cups then it would be the perfect fit.

OK, perhaps I'm stating the obvious, but have you scooped with vigour? Grin If you scoop, you'll probably see some overspill straight away. If so, the cup is too small.

TBH, if you've got some overspill or double boobage then the cup is usually too small. However, the bra might also be the wrong style to be fair. In addition you might have a bit of the 'orange in a glass' effect going on. This is where the boob is too big to fit properly right into the cup leaving unfuilled baggy sections of material.

The Portia is quite a full cup style of bra. Personally, I can't wear these as my boobs are very full on the bottom and I just get gaping (even if the cup is too small). It sounds to me like the cup might be deep for you whilst still being too small overall.
