I've found this really amazing moisturiser!

Can't link as on my phone but I bought some TempleSpa Skin Truffle facial moisturiser as a treat over Christmas and its FAB!

Yes, it's £££ but bloody hell - it definitely does what it says on the tin! I've been converted from Elemis Pro Collagen - I think it's worth the extra.

Anyone else tried it?

Ooo sounds amazing! Just read some reviews and everyone seems wowed...

I have a question? If you were to use this as a day cream, would you put on sunblock before or after? (I don't wear anything else like foundation).

I'm really tempted as my face appears to have collapsed and turned into a prune when I hit 40, and I have a credit card, am an impulse buyer and would like a miracle if possible Grin

threesteps

I went through a similar dilemma with sunblock / facecream etc. and I think you are meant to put sunblock on under your cream, but for me I got to a stage where I had just too much stuff on my face. So I ended up buying a primer with SPF and using that instead of sunblock. No experience with Skin Truffle here but I am sorely tempted - sounds delish!

brill, thanks Nigella!

I've never really put much on my face (hence my current state I guess), so it's all a bit of a learning curve...

this stuff says it's got gold and silver in, which put me off (seemed gimmicky) until I read some reviews and they all say it's amazing!

finger twitching towards credit card!

you won't get a miracle, threesteps. Before you buy it, check it's the right thing for your own particular kind of skin otherwise you will have to sell the truffle stuff on to me for £4.99 be making an expensive mistake!

Grin

I am an absolute product junkie and have tried every lotion and potion known to man from elemis to decleor via creme de mer and god ... You get my drift!

I am 41 and have never used a sun block. I have no lines and work hard to look after my skin. I recommend my second wonder product ! Facial oil! I use the Rose one by Ren and apply two drops. I let that sink in and then add moisturiser and eye cream ( after trying them all I've finally found the best one there as well Grin )

Obviously I can't give you a guarantee that this will work for your specific skin type . I'd describe my skin as relatively normal - sometimes prone to a little dry and sometimes a little greasy - normal in the whole though.

I really like this skin truffle. It's just really nice to apply , sinks in well, gives a bit of a natural glow and delivers just the right amount of moisture. It's quite thick so a little goes a long way.

I wonder if you email temple spa if they'd let you have a sample ? Might be worth a shot.

Oh and it's not sparkly at all! Not even in the pot. No hint of a shimmer

Where can I buy this? can you put a link for the website please.

Thanks Shiny Smile

Our skin sounds quite similar, but unfortunately I do have lines at 40, mainly below my eyes (absence of sunblock and no sunglasses, which I'm now paying the price of)... Frankly I look knackered!

3 years ago I got carded for booze, and now I look like dot cotton Shock

I loved the ideal of lobbing some champagne, gold and silver on my face and making it all go away Grin

Will resist for the time being and good idea to e-mail them for a sample, will definitely give that a go... cheers!

Tilly if you go to www.beautybible.com they review it there and also have a link to buy. I guess you could go direct to the website though (Temple Spa)?

I have some mini/trial-sized TempleSpa stuff. I got it as a Thank You from the lady for hosting a TempleSpa party. One of my friends from college came and bought £150 worth of stuff that night. My Thank You box has £60 worth of TS products in it and I have to admit I love their Firming neck cream.

My friend has found that the TS stuff she got is great and because you don't need as much of their creams, their stuff usually lasts longer than Avon creams (depending how much cream you use)

Hopefully I'll get this link malarky right. Here goes....

Yay!!! Getting the hang of this linking palaver. Hope you all find what you want. I can vouch that their stuff is mainly natural product based.

Oh give over Bof - I'd look 85 if I started using E45. It's absolutely imperative that I slather myself in the finest potions known to man.

Might start a blog GrinGrinGrin

Check out the Ren serum oil too. Oh and I have this new face oil by aromatherapy associates which is bloody good as well.

Have you seen that red jelly moisturiser ?

Dr Hauschka Rejuvenating eye cream. I've tried them all a few and this is the one that I think delivers. And the includes Creme De La Mer and Eve Lom.

Shine I took your recommendation for the Ren serum oil and it is fab. I can't say I now have the skin of a 12 year old but it is very good indeed and you only need a couple of drops. If you order online direct from Ren the send freebie samples too. So thanks so much for the recommendation.
My skincare recommendation is the new No7 Youthful eye serum. It is amazing and after just a week has definitely softened any fine lines around my eyes....
