Boden new season - what are we liking?

Bored of the clearance crap, my attention has turned to new season stuff. Anybody received anything decent yet? Or what do you fancy trying?

I'm awaiting the blue spot shirt, the oversize stripe t-shirt, button back jumper in green and crop cashmere cardi in cream.

Spring stuff is looking good! I've just ordered the guernsey jumper but tempted by other bits too.
I've had a look at the things you've ordered- all look great. The oversize t-shirt is very much like zara last year but hopefully better quality!

I see the usual suspects are there which I will probably buy at a very good discount like deal of the day or in the sale. I'm in no hurry as I have just purchased a few nice things in their recent sale.

Hmmm that's rather a lot and no way can I afford it all and don't need half of it anyway. Waiting for good offers & will try some of it out. Bought little or nothing new last year so could justify some this year.

Printed jersey tunic in navy
Grecian t-shirt in navy (flattering for boobage but thin material so only really good for summer)

Awaiting delivery:
Rosebery dress in navy/grey spot.

That was all I fancied in October or whenever it was I ordered from the preview. Haven't had a new catalogue yet though, so expect I will fancy a few bits when that arrives.

Anyone have any feedback on whether the button back cardigan works with boobage?

Very very little
Ordered some things in preiew and all gone back. The Adelaide dress and another similar style- forgotten name. All dreary in RL and too £££.

Have ordered a weekend jersey dress as an exchange and the 70s sandals.

Very disappointing selection IMO this season. Boring tops, the type which you can get anywhere, hopeless dresses and same old, same old, trousers.

Uniqlo have better T shirts, cotton crops etc or chinos for less than half the price.

Don't know what I was thinking when I ordered from the spring preview .
Wrap jersey top - totally wrong shape for me shows bumps I don't have and exposes norks.
Favourite cropped cardigan - ordered a hideous colour.
Linen shirt dress - looks like prison issue on me.
Skinny jeans - ordered identical colour to a pair I already have.
Chinos - huge on me for some reason.

However I do like -

Still waiting for Lightweight boat neck.
Thought I'd ordered something for DH but it must have been a figment of my imagination.

I don't mind Boden every once in a while, but a bit narked after an expensive winter coat didn't live up to it's price tag.

But, the worst thing is how they always sell out so fast and take forever to restock. Every damn thing I like, and this happens, so I just stopped visiting the site. It is obvious some stuff sells well so why don't they just get their shit together and have it more of it on stand by?

Still, it's one of the best sites for customer reviews, unlike Joules who decided to scrap them cos they didn't like the fucking truth getting out.

Holly I wouldn't wear the Amelie dress myself....but I know it would suit my mother....she's in her late 50s, if that makes any difference? If YOU like it, go for it! HTH.

That new knitwear is terrifically overpriced.

I can't find much I like at all, there's a lot that they've tweaked the colours on from Spring '12. They've lost their way IMO. Same with mini Boden too.

I am not normally a Boden fan. I know it's quite for MN . However, I would possibly take a look at these. I am not sure if the links will work so will add names:

would need my diet to be successful for this stripey ponte dress
maybe a bit nighty looking but quite like the above knee necklace dress
I see this collated cardigan in white with slim cropped trousers
would love this stripey lexington skirt if I were size 8 and tall
like this Matilda skirt in white but fear it will look frumpy

And what's going on with the colours? None of them ever make sense to me. There's a sort of wackiness here that I can't get on board with. That hotpotch breton tee is alright though.

I had a huge package today :) Ordered the:

Classic Denim shirt - loved it! Fitted and flattering shape, good fabric, finally a great boden piece after all the left-overs from clearance!
Essential long sleeve tee - okay enough to keep
Printed cotton skirt - very average, but I liked the spring prints
Skater dress - returning for sizing down; doesnt look as great as in the pictures though.
Ledbury dress - flattering style, but hated the prints/colours

Nothing remotely good in mini boden..

I love lots of hte stuff this season which is unusual as I've gone for a few years now withuot liking more than one or two bits. Just bought the wardour dress in ivory and the pencil skirt in silver both of which are lovely.
