Totally in love with my new foundation !

after harping on about only wearing tinted moisturiser cos it looks more natural I tried dd's YSL foundation and it is AMAZING!!

Looks v natural , stays put on my oily t-zone cos it has a gel base and a primer already in it . Passes my 5x magnifying mirror test.

I know I loved bare minerals before but this is my new love , thoroughly recommend!!!

It's fab, isn't it? You really do not need much and it goes on like a dream. It endured a whole day of shopping and it remained immaculate, rather than becoming a sweaty mess. Love it Xmas Grin. I generally get an oily t zone, but this keeps everything in place. No powder required

have you used it in the summer?

No, but as a mum of a new-ish baby (who gets sweaty quite a lot), it is perfect. I guess summer will be the true test, but i am impressed so far!

Is it just called YSL foundation or something specific - I have been looking for a new foundation - have such oily skin and need something that lasts longer than midday without the shine breaking through.

I have been testing it after seeing the Sali Hughes review. Agree that tis v good. I will be buying it when my beloved Dior Nude runs out.

IfYoureHappy- I was using Nude prior to YSL too. I squeezed the last drop out (though i bet there is still loads at the bottom of the bottle- can't unscrew it), and got the YSL based on that same review. V impressed. Charl- it is YSL Touche Eclat foundation

Does it really stay put on oily skin? Lots of reviews say not.

It stays put on mine quinn , which is nothing short of a miracle tbh.

Tempted. I quite like Dior Nude. Not the best staying power on my oily's, but certainly not the worst. Seems like if I like Dior Nude I might like this. Can't imagine not needing a primer though.

I didn't like dior nude , didn't look natural on my skin for some reason.

I love it too, its ace. I have a greasy t zone and it does stay put.

Oh yes. YSL is the best.

I didn't know the bit about ysl acting as a primer too. Where does it say that? If I could stop buying prep and prime I could blow that money on something else Wink Wink

I can't find anywhere that says it but that's what sales assistant told me ,cos I was about to go and buy prep and prime when she said there's no need .
I may well find that I do need one ...will update.

I was told the primer bit as well. I have stopped using primer and my T zone is oily usually.

Does it have good coverage? I still get spots and struggle to keep them covered up.

I loved this foundation but couldn't get a good enough colour match. I'm now using No.7 Lift and Luminate.
