Have narrowly missed 28 day returns date (7th Dec) for item bought last month.
Will they take item back if I go tomorrow or do I just have to lump it????

Thanks peops in advance x

I found that they're really strict about the dates. I think you might be able to exchange it but not get your moment back.

I could be confused but I'm sure our local TK Maxx has an even shorter return date like 2 weeks or something? I'd check your receipt.

I bought a bag which sat in a cupboard for a year with label on. Took it back without receipt and they let me exchange.

Ah online might be different. I was talking about an instore purchase.

If the item is worth more than a few quid and not ridiculously heavy I would return by post. You will have to pay but I bet they just refund rather than go to hassle of rejecting it.

I recently returned something from TK Maxx online to a local store. I noticed that unlike normal online receipts where it says '14 days to return' or '28 days to return', it specifically said 'return by date: 30 November 2012' so I think they might be strict. They'd probably exchange it though.

I think it's two weeks for refund and one month for exchange/credit note.
