Where the bloody hell can I buy summer clothes and bikinis in shops this time of year?

I am on holiday on Friday.

I have just hurled my clothes on the bed and don't like what I see.

I need new summer dresses, tops, shorts, sandals and bikinis.

What shops sell this clobber at this time of year?

I think you can get them from the next website and get them delivered to the store? You won't find them in store at this time of year.

Xmas Envy.

Catalogue type places like Very for bikinis, they usually deliver next day. They might have a few Summery bits too.

La Redoute's eBay shops had SUmmer dresses the other day, I don't know what their delivery is like though.

Thanks very much. I will have a look at that Next deliver into store thing - the only thing with ordering online is that I am not in all week to accept parcels, won't get back til very late and we are staying at Gatwick Thursday night. So have my doubts that I will get the parcel.

Bloody nothing in the shops.

Why didn't i think of this before? Grin

Me too. We're going away next Sunday. I'm thinking of going to TK Maxx after work one day next week. I don't know if they'll have anything though. I'm supposed to be getting organised today. I'm sitting in the sofa mumsnet ting.

I was thinking about TK Maxx as well, but I can't bear the place at the best of times and iyt will be unbearable just before Christmas.

I too am supposed to be sorting stuff but I am eating a bowl of ice cream, watching Friends and being really lazy. Grin

I've done the tree this afternoon. I'm wrapping presents tonight. We arrive back at 1am on Christmas Eve. It seemed like a good idea when we booked it! I can't stand TK Maxx either but cannot face going to liverpool tomorrow.

Lol at no sympathy.

2 days to go!

I have got 5 bikinis anyway I have discovered. But sod it, I will buy a new one or two and some shorts and tops at the airport. Too bloody cold to go to the shops.

One thing that is keeping me happy in this freezing cold weather is the mantra two days to go...two days to go...

I am reaally looking forward to it, plus it is dd's 17th birthday the day we fly (which reminds me, I need to pack a cake and candles)

Sainsburys had lots of swimwear today. Cannot vouch for how stylish or otherwise it is as I was on my way past with a trolley of food
