Show me your lovely recent purchases and lets have a truly nice S&B thread.

And I'm throwing caution to the wind as really fancy some very dark indigo skinny bootcuts and a slinky tunic Shock So any inspiration on that front would be greatly appreciated.

I think you may have already seen my sparkly jumper. Am now hanging on for the sales!

I love that jumper. Sales must be soon have had pre-sale stuff from loads of places and even a £10 off £50 Brora thing - have never known discounting like it.

We are going up to London on the 28th Dec for a 2 days and a night so will save myself until then. There isn't actually anything I have my eye on at the moment so will just wait and see! Have you got a slinky tunic in mind?

I have (hopefully) the non-maternity version of this . It is both sequin and tunic which could count as a double whammy s&b no-no in certain circles Wink

Oh and I agree about the discounts. Even Toast have had mini-sales, discounts etc which I have never seen in the 8 years I have shopped with them.

Dexter that is a fab jumper.

I bought a pair of skinny black coated jeans from DP that would look great with that or the Mango one.

Holding off for the sales now as well but have been tempted by a few flash sales.

I love the cowl back on your dress. Hopefully you can score a hat-trick and wear it with mum boots/shoes!!

I don't think I have mum boots. I had my biker boots on when I tried the dress on and I loved that look but bought these for its debut tomorrow evening.....which I guess qualify as mum shoes as they are "comfy"!

Dexter it was the cowl that I loved too plus the fact that it is a-line.

Carole Xmas Grin. Funnily enough worn that way around it would be similar to an French Coonection cowl front dress last winter!

Going to the states for Christmas & Jan so am holding off hoping for good finds. Typical that I've been seeing lots of stuff I like whilst on a spending ban!

Ha ha Dexter.... Beautifully, stylishly and tactfully put Xmas Grin

Caerlaverock I have similar trousers from H&M and wear with chunky cable knit navy jumper for daytime and navy collarless silk shirt for evening. Is that the kind of thing you were thinking?

I was thinking gauzy knit but can't find anything suitable. Chunky cable sounds good for day

I have seen gauzy knits in Zara, H&M and Monsoon. Just about to start supper but will try and find links later.

Chunky knit was from H&M. It's a wool/synthetic blend but isn't too bad for that - I have a loathing of acrylic.

Lovely links Smile

The navy lace skirt for work I ordered from La Redoute finally arrived. It is lovely though.

I have been wearing my Steve Madden Ash a-likes to death and am awaiting the arrival of //www.newlook.com/shop/shoe-gallery/view-all-shoes/light-brown-leather-panel-cocealed-wedge-hi-tops_259185121?icClicked=addToBag&icCategory=cat30007&_requestid=2320037.

I can feel some investment knitwear coming on in the sales.
