I love them, I hate tights with open toe shoes though so I would slap on a bit of nail polish and fake tan instead. (trying to be helpful, but probably failing)

mmm that was my big fear - esp after a few wines at the christmas party.

lots of bargain shoes on there but really struggling with what goes with navy dress for a party

Not my cup of tea but I would be tempted to buy them just because they are so reduced. Insane I know.

They are reduced for a reason is suppose

I think they'd work best with tan/nude tights if you're planning on wearing a navy dress.

But not really a fan of tights with peep toe shoes, unless you buy footless ones?

LittlePandaBear · 27/11/2012 20:22

They're not my taste personally, though I love a high heel. According to Mumsnet rules, you're not allowed to wear tights with sandals either don't tell anyone here that I have broken the rules!

Aldo have lots of lovely shoes in the sale at the moment so maybe there's something there you like?

Or ignore me and go with your first choice Smile

shoeaholics are the clearance outlet for kurt geiger and they stock alot of shop soiled or ex display shoes, often at greatly reduced prices. Then there are the shoes that are just hideous to start with. The site is a shoe graveyard. But if you like them buy them!

It worries me that they say about having slight cosmetic damage as ex display. Is that the reason for the huge price reduction?

What about silver/metallic to go with navy? Or hot pink?

I like them, and find Kurt Geiger heels pretty wearable, but I wouldn't a) wear them with tights b) buy without trying on

Good lord, they are hideous not very nice. Don't do it. Please.

I saw some utterly ludicrous Ted Baker silver glitter bow heels in TK Maxx for fifty quid (instore but not online). They'd be good with a navy dress - TK Maxx are always good for silly party shoes in unusual colours.

I have these and I love them, they would go with a navy dress.

Then again I also have these which DH has decided means I have no taste whatsoever (but I love them too)

Nude tights fine as long as closed toe shoes.

They are quite fun but more of a summer shoe I think. I agree with grey or silver shoes with a navy dress. Have you checked asos?

I don't like the shoes, sorry!

I did buy some great shoes off that site once though, I was worried about them being ex display and maybe covered in marks but they looked like new.

I have never known anyone love Iron Fist shoes before Eric I have lots and lots, Ruby Slippers were my latest pair, I have the Peppercorn Zebra ones, Lounge Leopard ones, Black society ones...I love em all (I probably have about 20 pairs). I'm after the Shotgun Platform ones next. As far as shoes go - the louder the better imo Grin

No, sorry really don't like them. They look like sort of 'novelty' shoes - not very stylish IMO. Don't like the peep toes for winter parties. Silver would be much nicer!

Or pink. Or red.
