Any Jo Malone recommendations?

My lovely hubby is taking me to the Jo Malone shop to choose a new perfume for Xmas. I've worn j'adore for as long as I can remember and would love a change.

I don't want anything too musky or heavy. Any recommendations?
Thanks

I like Cologne 154. It's not as sweet as some of her other scents.

Pomegranite Noir is my fave - smells 'different' - but everyone comments n how lovely it is.

I used to wear J'adore too and my two Jo Malone favourites are pomegrante noir and orange blossom.
White jasmine and mint makes me feel quite queasy for some reason.

their signature scent, lime, basil and mandarin is absolutely lovely. What a lovely gift!

Hate Pomegranate Noir-too spicy and heavy. Also hate Lime, Basil and Mandarin
Loved Lemon Verbena but they discontinued it. Sad

Nectarine blossom and honey is lovely, wild bluebell is nice too but doesn't last IMO, I also couldn't take to Red Roses but it got a lot of celebrity press when it first came out, it reminds me too much of the rose perfume I used to make as a little girl and try and sell to the neighboursSmile

English pear and freesia is my favourite for winter. For summer I like Nectarine blossom and honey.

Love Pomegranate Noir on my DH & it seems to last forever! I am asking Santa for some Bay & Blackberry - I tried it last weekend & it was lovely.

Orange blossom is gorgeous. Agree with Susieloo that wild bluebell doesn't last, which is a shame as it smells lovely.

I really want to like jo malone, but find all the perfumes a bit "air freshner-y"

Anyone else agree? Please help me fall in love with them!

Love nutmeg and ginger, have gone off lime basil & mandarin as it does remind me of a bathroom air freshener - but then I am drawn to lime all my room perfumes are citrus based. Maybe I'll change my mind come the warm weather.

Dark Amber and Gingerlily for winter and Orange Blossom for summer. I don'find they last very long on me though, sadly.

I am not keen either but I loved the tea fragrance candles. And the vitamin E cream.

Great, thank you so much for your replies. I've noted them all down and will go armed with my list. I have a horrible feeling I am going to want more than 1!

Thanks again

Now, Jo Malone experts, can anyone tell me - does the website send free testers, and/or what is the cheapest way to buy Jo Malone perfume? I love the smell of the lime, basil, manadrin one (my DD's teacher wears it, and it was so nice, I asked her what it was), but assuming it costs about £40, have no hope of affording it. Would it be discounted anywhere (I assume not)? Seconds? Travel sizes (grasping at straws Smile)? Any ideas?
