I have just fulfilled a lifelong ambition.

That is, to own a completely over the top, leopard print, fur coat grin

To be worn with red lippy, victory rolls, vintage dresses and stupid heels grin.

Have just lost 20lbs so it's my treat to me (and hopefully will look better than on my previous heifer-like self).

I want this one now too!

Love the sound of your 1940's look! And congrats on saying farewell to 20lbs of fat, I'm sure you look and feel amazing.

You can never have too much leopard print in my humble opinion. I own this beauty and wear it in a similar fashion to yours.

Cheers squoosh smile

I was a complete state to be honest. 13stone on my wee 5'4 frame. Now 11st11lb and still losing. Aiming for 10st 7lbs. DP is doing it with me and has lost 12lbs. Great to have the support.

Low carb + shredding = a better me!

Oooh that's gorgeous Portly!

My mother will have a conniption when I see her at xmas. She already thinks I'm a tarty slattern wink

Are you me boo?! grin sounds like you're in for a very fabulous looking festive season!

squoosh Tue 20-Nov-12 13:12:40

Low carbing is indeed the business! Shredding scares me although people do rave about it.

It's really not that bad squoosh. Even DP who has the co-ordination of a drunk chimp can keep up!

Although we are moving onto Level 2 tonight. I may revise my opinion tomorrow wink

And scented? I wish! I'm seriously coveting your hair in those pics! I really want a red or blonde streak for when I do rolls but my stupid hair is too dark.

squoosh Tue 20-Nov-12 13:25:41

Scented you look just like Imelda May in your second picture.

Scented your hair is beautiful, well actually all of you is envy

Bunny my hair is black with a red streak in my fringe, I've bleached it once since February and just too the red up with a vegetable based dye. It's not too much upkeep smile

P.S I think we should have our own quiche thread for all us vintage inspired ladies wink

blush thanks you lovely people you grin

You should, but you'll need to change your username now.

Why don't they picture it on a mannequin though? You can't tell how long it is sad

(How long is it?)

GnocchiGnocchiWhosThere Tue 20-Nov-12 16:12:27

And a big fat WELL DONE on little skinny Bunny! grin

MrsCampbellBlack Tue 20-Nov-12 16:23:16

Well done on the weight loss! I've tried coat&pageSize=40 this one several times and really like it.

Thanks Naice smile. It'll be a while before I hit skinny but you never know!

Re: length, I just tried it on again (any excuse!) and it hits just above mid thigh iyswim?

I tried that one too MrsCampbell! T'is lush. You should purchase while the discount still applies wink.

Bums. I am on constant lookout for a longer-length one - I hate with a passion when dresses are longer than coats, and although I do have some bum-skimmers, I alos have quite a lot of just-above-knee.

Ooooh lovely, I just sold a vintage Topshop one I had on ebay that was very similar to the miss s one you linked to.

it went for silly money shock

I want this now. It's lovely OP, but I think I must have a good decade and a half on you. I haven't shopped in Ms Selfridge for ages, I used to love it.

Do it Bobbly!! I have visions of me trotting about in mine when I'm 70 odd grin

Bloody good work Moomie - I think with the key words "Vintage TopShop" you were bound to be onto a winner!

Will keep an eye out for a long one Naice. With my borderline hobbit proportions, length is never really an issue. Ahem.
