I have lost a huge amount of weight, and shopping is a joy now, but I don't know what is in fashion/style. I bought some boots, which look great with skinny jeans, and black tights but I feel a denim skirt would also be a good option. Couldn't see anything today.

Are they now 'out'?

Mine was out at the park with me today .

I think they are a bit frumpy but I don't care i love mine. It came from gap but some time ago.

I just bought a mini denim skirt and love to wear it with burgundy tights and nice boots

I have a knee length A line one I got about 6 weeks ago from Weird Fish. I believe it to be the frumpiest skirt in frumpsville because it took me ages to find a knee length one. But I love it, wear it all the time.

I've got one, that comes just above my knees.
I wear it with chunky cardi's, a scarf, coloured tights and either black or brown boots.
I'm not in the cool and trendy crowd, but it's a look I enjoy.

Curiosity - mine is from next.

Surprisingly very cool and funky. It's a dark denim, and perfect length. Always get nice compliments when wearing it

I don't think they are out, just more about how you style it. Try with navy or burgundy opaques?? A chunky knit?? Funky boots??

Denim skirts are not frumpy.

I've just ordered this one in a 12L: Boden Denim Mini I'm hoping it will be just above the knee on me (I'm 5'10") but I guess we'll see.
