Sorrell or Statistically Challenged - bra size quick question!

Hello
I've read your previous threads and wondered could you advise on size? I've just remeasured and I'm a 30 and a bit underneath and a 37 (just under) around the top. I've ben wearing a 32e since losing some weight but the cups seem a bit small, although back seems not too bad. i'm off to Charnos factory sale this morning, so want to get it right before I go!
Thanks so much

Not an expert but this is from memory of the threads.

Will you have any chance to try it on?

Remember the bra needs to fit on its loosest hook so you can tighten it as it washes.

It sounds like you need a 30 or even a 28 band.

Cups is roughly 1 cup per inch difference so I think you would be a 30F, assuming Charnos has a DD cup.

Bras vary enormously and you really need to try them on. You should be somewhere around a 32E/30F/32F/28FF depending on the bra and how you want it to fit.

Good luck and happy shopping Smile

30F? Yikes! And to think for years and years I wore a 36C (thanks M&S) until I went to Bravissimo and came out feeling amazing...
Thanks for your advice though - hopefully I'll be able to try them on but it's a full on factory sale, as opposed to a shop, so I'm not sure.

Based on measurements I would say a 30F however as you say the cup feels a little small in your 32e (which would have the equivalent cup to a 30F) I would also suggest trying a 30FF.

Hi there,
Can you ladies advise? I'm a 32f, get fitted regularly at Bravissimo, no problems in the day bra department.

I bought a 32f in a Shock Absorber sports bra online and if it is a 32f then my name is Fred. Miles too small. Couldn't get hooks to meet. Is there a particular formula for sports bras?

Thanks :)

Sports bras do tend to come up very small in the back. I'm usually a 30 but own a 32 Freya Active.

I'm usually a 32FF and can't get a Shock Absorber to fit me. They're incredibly small in the back and, if I go for a 34, they don't do a cup size big enough.

So. I have both the Panache Sport and the Freya Active in a 32FF. I prefer the Panache as I find the Freya chafes on the ribs.
Also try the Enell in a size 1 though, the support is brilliant. Avoid the Berlei one like the plague though...

Sorry to hijack with sports bra talk!

Sports bras are generally teeeeny in the back. I'm a very definite 30 - I have to get a 32 in both Shock Absorber and Freya sports bras.

I think I would start with your normal letter, but up a back size and adjust from there.
