Himalayan salt scrub DIY...

I bought an utterly beautiful Himalayan salt body scrub (when I had more money!) but now being unable to shell out on the replacement at 50 quid was thinking about buying some salts, argan oil and essential oils to do a DIY version. I have, indeed, studied the packaging and think I can recreate it.

Question is, what sort of size salts would I need to buy? I don't want to buy some which are too 'large' and scratchy. I would be buying online.

Maldon salt from the supermarket and crush it down to required size? It comes in tiny fragile pyramids.
