Please help me, my lily-white arse is at risk of full display to the unsuspecting general public
Since last year, I've lost 2 of the 2.5-3 stone i was aiming to. 3 months ago i found out I'm pg, so the planned new wardrobe has gone on hold (plus dp and i were made redundant 4 times in 6 months between us so cash is a bit tight!) I'm trying to make do with what I've got until i can shop for maternity wear - right now i don't have enough of a bump to be able to tell what will fit.
My size 12 stuff is out, too tight. I have 1 pair of size 14 Gap straight jeans that just about do up but dig a bit if sitting for long periods. I have a pair of immensely comfortable Ted Bakers in a 14 which slide down when walking - I'm currently wearing a bump band (size 8 boob tube that was cheap in Peacocks, there's not a lot of choice locally!) underneath which helps a bit and at least covers my crack when i walk/bend!
What are my options, please? I need to get through July on no spare cash, then our finances will have stabilised and i'll have a bump to put in maternity stuff. I can't face frocks and tights/leggings every day, I'm a scruff!!
