Stylish breastfeeding dress to wear to a wedding

Hi!
I'm going to a wedding in a few week's time and need to find a breastfeeding friendly dress where I can breastfeed discreetly whilst looking fabulous! All the dresses I've found online that are so-called "nursing dresses" are still cut for maternity sizes. I've lost nearly all my baby weight and am almost back to pre-pregnancy size (apart from my MASSIVE boobs...well massive to an originally small chested woman) but it seems difficult to find anything that isn't described as "loose fit to cover up post-delivery wobbly bits!"

What sort of age / size /shape / colouring are you?

how about a cross fronted jersey dress with a shawl for coverage. Lovely and stretchy so really handy for feeding. There are plenty about at the moment, that was just the first I came across.

I had this problem last summer so I know exactly what you mean. I struggled with wrap dresses. So I just went on my fave clothes sites and searched "zip front" "zip dress" "button dress" "shirt dress".
And you can find regular, nice(!) stylish/on trend dresses with that all important easy access!

Great idea on the cross fronted dress! I'll definitely look into that. I must admit I was panicking a bit with the thought of breastfeeding in a nice dress (my LO is definitely a dribbler, spitter, cougher) so was definitely going to go the more affordable route. I have a lot more options now.

Hi babyschool my top tip would be to steer clear of 'breastfeeding' dresses. I wore this 50's shape dress from Dolly Dagger www.dollydagger.co.uk/proddetail.asp?prod=DDDRS1ROSE&cat=26 for my BIL's wedding last year the cross over bodice made access very easy and it made my figure look fabulous. You do need a petticoat and the dolly dagger ones are never in stock for more than 5 mins so I'd suggest ebay or www.wagtailsdancewear.co.uk where I got mine.

The 50's shape really makes the most of bigger boobs and shows of your newly trimmer waist. (They do different colourways too if red isn't your thing).

I adore 50's dresses like Sneaky linked to, but they aren't to everyone's taste. Very flattering indeed and well worth a try.
